Chloe Sinclair looked away, her eyes filled with confusion.
"My brother?"
Her classmate was stunned too. "Yeah, you didn’t know? Your brother, Gabriel Sinclair, is on the show too."
Chloe Sinclair genuinely had no idea.
But then she remembered Gabriel saying he had joined a reality show at the last minute. Thinking about it now, it had to be this one.
"I’ll go ask him."
After class, Chloe Sinclair sent a message to Gabriel.
And it turned out to be the exact same show.
When Gabriel found out his little sister was coming, he rushed to tell the director.
Time was tight, and the post-production team still had editing to do, so the cast’s daily schedules were packed.
After a few busy days in Joel Quincy’s research lab, Chloe Sinclair had to pack her bags for the neighboring province of Yarrow.
Although Yarrow bordered Emberfall and was a major provincial hub for the nation’s economy and transportation, the economic disparity within the province was huge. Children in the mountainous regions, in particular, might go their whole lives without ever visiting a city.
Chloe Sinclair took anything she did very seriously. She told Jasper Shaw about the situation, and without a second thought, he had someone buy a large number of school supplies and books to be donated after the show finished filming.
Just before she was due to leave, Jasper Shaw rushed to the airport to see her off.
He looked like he was in a hurry. Despite the bone-chilling cold outside, a thin sheen of sweat covered his face.
Chloe Sinclair took out her handkerchief and stood on her tiptoes to gently wipe his brow. "Why were you in such a rush?" she couldn’t help but ask. "Boarding isn’t for another thirty minutes."
Jasper Shaw, still catching his breath, said, "I was afraid I wouldn’t make it in time."
Just as he finished speaking, Chloe saw Ian Winters finally arrive, carrying a large bag.
"Something to take to the children."
Chloe Sinclair looked inside and saw that the bag was filled with pens and pen refills.
Having been by Jasper’s side for so many years, Ian Winters knew exactly what kind of mood his boss was in. He took two steps back and shuffled to the side, doing his best to fade into the background.
’The boss’s girl has been gone for one minute, and he already misses her!’

After getting off the plane, Chloe Sinclair sneezed.
She scanned the airport and finally spotted the pickup sign.
Traveling with her were two students from the art department. They seemed to be classmates and got along well.
Chloe hadn’t spent much time with them, so they didn’t talk much.
Once she found the sign, Chloe pulled her suitcase over.
The production crew was very thorough; there were five people just for the airport pickup.
Someone saw all the bags, big and small, that Chloe had brought and couldn’t help but ask in surprise, "Miss Sinclair, you really bought this many pens and notebooks?"
