Felix?
What right did he have?
“Why Felix?” Evan asked coldly.
What claim did Felix have over Stella?
If Aaron had taken her, Evan could at least understand it.
Aaron was her biological brother.
No matter what he had done, he was still family.
But Felix?
He was nothing to her.
“Obviously Aaron allowed him to,” Amos said. “How else do you think he could’ve taken her?”
Without Aaron’s permission, even Felix would never have been able to take Stella away.
Hearing that Aaron had agreed only made Evan’s chest tighten further.
Of course.
Those two really were close.
While Stella was alive, they had worked together to manipulate her.
And even after her death, they had still made decisions for her without asking.
Evan narrowed his eyes.
“Where is Felix now?”
“What are you planning to do?”
The moment Evan asked where Felix was, Amos felt a headache coming on.
Judging by Evan’s expression, he clearly intended to go take Stella back.
Even now, when she was already gone, he still wanted to fight over her?
Fine.
Amos could understand the feeling.
Evan might have been an asshole, but at least part of what he felt for Stella had been real.
If this had happened to Amos and Ivy, Amos knew he would have lost his mind and fought just as hard to bring her back.
But Felix was another matter.
“I’d advise you to forget it,” Amos said.
Evan looked at him without speaking.
“You probably haven’t heard yet. Felix gave up everything because of Miss Rowan.”
Miss Rowan.
Amos no longer called her Evan’s wife.
