Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 1106

She had come to talk to Ivy, though Ivy wasn’t particularly interested in entertaining her because of everything that had happened with Stella.

When Amos walked in, Ivy raised a brow.

“A vacation?”

Now?

Did he really need reminding what kind of mess Seaborne was in right now?

Was this seriously the time to be talking about a vacation?

Then again, it had been a long time since they’d gone anywhere together.

Seeing Amos return, Yara stood up.

“I should get going.”

“Yeah. Go ahead.”

Yara left.

Amos watched her walk away, then turned to Ivy.

“What did she want?”

“What else? She wanted someone to make her feel better.”

They hadn’t even talked much.

Then again, Yara had been eaten alive by guilt ever since Stella died.

And here in Seaborne, Ivy was practically the only person she could talk to.

Most of the household staff spoke the local language, and not everyone could understand them.

But Ivy was selective about who she was willing to get close to.

And once she formed an opinion about someone, it was hard to change.

Right now, she had plenty of issues with Yara.

Amos scoffed. “Those two really are brother and sister.”

Evan had been acting like he needed someone to comfort him lately, and apparently Yara was the same.

But after everything Evan had done, who could possibly comfort him?

No one.

Ivy waved a hand. “Enough about them. Why the sudden vacation?”

“Aaron sent over divorce papers and told Evan to sign them.”

Ivy raised a brow. “And he refused?”

“Yep.”

Amos nodded.

He genuinely couldn’t understand how Evan had the nerve to refuse.

He was acting like there was still some possibility between him and Stella.

He was even going around claiming he suspected she might still be alive.

So what if she was?
