Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 995

Who would have imagined that the person threatening Stella’s life lately would be her own brother?

Aaron had repeatedly insisted he would never hand her over to Litt.

But the moment Remi said Aaron’s men had tried to capture her, Stella knew exactly what he intended to do.

He wanted to use his own sister to force Amos to back down.

All to protect Litt, the man who wanted her dead.

“Aaron, I’ve suddenly realized how pathetic you are.”

Aaron fell silent.

“You call Amos useless, yet the woman you loved chose him over you. I suppose that makes you even worse than the man you look down on.”

“Shut up!”

Aaron’s breathing grew heavy at the mention of that woman.

“You really are worse than him,” Stella continued. “At least Amos protects the people he cares about. You’re willing to trade your own sister for whatever benefits you.”

What else could she call a man who could not even protect his own family?

“Are you finished?”

“I must have been blind to think you and Felix were better men than Evan.”

Evan had been a bastard.

Everything he had done regarding Summer had infuriated her.

But when it truly mattered, at least he had been willing to risk his life.

Could Aaron and Felix say the same?

Apparently not.

Stella had once believed that nothing in the world could threaten men like them.

Only after returning to Eirden had she realized that, within their own circles, they were not nearly as powerful as she had imagined.

“You’ve become a complete disappointment,” Aaron said coldly.

“The feeling is mutual.”

Stella ended the call.

Had she disappointed Aaron this time?

Perhaps.

But the entire Hogarth family had disappointed her just as deeply.

She had barely put down her phone when Felix called.

Stella looked at the number.
