Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 998

Or more importantly, what connection did Amos have to the mysterious force operating behind him?

What did they want?

Would their plans eventually put Stella in danger?

Amos had been making move after move against Aaron lately.

Under those circumstances, who knew what he might do to achieve his goals?

“Find out who’s behind it,” Felix ordered coldly.

Jack nodded.

“Yes, sir.”

They had to keep investigating.

They had not managed to identify the person behind that force yet, but that did not mean they could stop looking.

“We still don’t know whether that faction poses a threat to Miss Rowan,” Jack said.

“With Amos going after Aaron now, there’s no way to be sure.”

“I wonder if Miss Rowan understands that.”

Felix said nothing.

Did she?

Thinking about everything she had said over the phone made his head ache.

If she truly understood the danger, she probably would not have aligned herself so closely with Amos.

It infuriated him.

She would rather trust Amos than either of them.

Felix was deeply afraid that her faith in Amos would eventually get her hurt.

“Find out who they are as soon as possible,” he repeated coldly.

Three separate forces had clearly participated in the attack on Litt.

There was Amos.

There were the people Stella had hired.

And then there was a third force.

Stella’s hired teams were already accounted for.

But no one knew who the remaining faction belonged to.

Their unexpected involvement had caught everyone off guard.

After everything on Mance Island was over, Remi turned to Stella.

“Why don’t we go straight to Seaborne?”

Litt was dead.

With Litt dead, the immediate threat to Stella’s life had disappeared, so there was no longer any need for her to hide in Sevi Valley.

The conditions there were far too harsh.
