Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 341

Meanwhile, Phoebe Prescott was locked away and transferred to Blackwood Penitentiary.

Before arriving, she still clung to a sliver of hope, convinced her father, Warren, would find a way to bail her out.

But as she was forced into a coarse prison uniform and shoved roughly into the damp, dimly lit cell by the guards, the harsh reality finally hit her—she was no longer the untouchable Prescott Heiress; she had become a prisoner, just like Phoenix had been years ago.

"I don't belong here! Let me out!"

Phoebe spun around, gripping the iron bars desperately, her voice cracking in a hysterical scream. "I'm the Prescott heiress! I have money, so much money! Just let me out, and I'll pay you whatever you want!"

"Heh, how delightfully stupid."

A cold, detached voice pierced the silence, sounding especially chilling in the gloomy cell.

Phoebe shuddered violently, stiffly turning her head.

Through the dim light, she saw several female inmates lurking in the back of the cell, cracking their knuckles and glaring at her like predators.

Only one figure remained entirely still in the corner. The slender woman was calmly turning the pages of a book, completely unbothered by the commotion around her.

Though her silhouette was thin and seemingly unremarkable, it radiated a suffocating wave of despair that sent a primal strike of fear straight through Phoebe's heart. It felt less like a person sitting there, and more like a demon wearing human skin.

Even the vicious-looking inmates surrounding her seemed to pale in comparison to that solitary, intimidating presence.

"So, you're Phoebe?"

"You... you know me?" Phoebe shrank back in terror, her voice trembling as her eyes locked onto the one-eyed woman stepping forward.

"Tsk, tsk. To think Phoenix used to get bullied by a pathetic piece of trash like you. It's truly embarrassing for us," the one-eyed inmate scoffed, shaking her head. Her expression instantly darkened as she grabbed a fistful of Phoebe's hair and slammed her violently into the ground.

"Ah!"

Phoebe let out a bloodcurdling shriek as she collapsed into a heap.

A tearing agony ripped across her scalp, and the impact felt as though it had shattered every bone in her body, making her vision swim with darkness.

This was terrifying!

This woman... was a complete psycho!

"Come on, girls. Let's give Phoenix's lovely sister a proper welcome."

Seeing the cruel, mocking smiles creeping onto the inmates' faces as they advanced, Phoebe completely panicked, abandoning whatever was left of her dignity. "Who... who are you to Phoenix? Did she pay you to target me?"

"I can give you money! Double... no, ten times as much! My father is Warren Prescott, the CEO of Prescott Group! He has endless wealth!"
