“TAKE IT DOWN! TAKE THE DAMNED CASTLE DOWN!‘ Tiana’s voice shrieked in Nikolai’s mind, her panic and anxiety reaching a fever pitch.
Nikolai’s claws dug into his hair as he dropped to his knees, overwhelmed by Tiana’s harsh voice.
‘What are you doing? Stand up! Stand up!‘ she screamed, her words echoing
in Nikolai’s mind.
Just as Tiana’s voice reached a mind numbing clamor, Ophelia’s gentle tone cut through the chaos. “Nikolai!” she called out, her footsteps echoing as
she ran down the stairs.
Nikolai’s eyes locked onto Ophelia, drawn to her as she rushed toward him.
But Tiana’s voice intercepted, raging with fury. ‘No! Nothing is going according to plan anymore! Kill her! Kill her, or she will ruin everything! There are demons, gods… I won’t be obstructed further! KILL HER!‘
As Ophelia reached Nikolai, his hands shot out, grasping her neck with an iron grip. Ophelia’s face paled, her hazel–gray eyes welling up with tears as she stared at Nikolai in shock and horror.
“N..” Ophelia’s voice was strained, her words barely audible as she choked
out, “Nik… No.”
She struggled against his grip, grasping his hand with both of hers. “You have to come back!” she sobbed, her voice cracking with desperation. “You have to come back to me!”
Nikolai remained unmoving, his eyes lifeless and consumed by bloodlust. With effortless strength, he released Ophelia’s neck and pushed her away. As she stumbled backward, a deep frown etched her face, and her body began to succumb to gravity.

239 Over?
Just as she was about to collapse, her magnificent golden dragon wings burst forth, unfolding from her back like a radiant aura.
“Seems we’re going to do this the hard way.” She hissed with displeasure.
Cyrus and River materialized on the scene, flanking Nikolai on either side.
Tiana’s voice shrieked in Nikolai’s mind, ‘Kill them all!‘
Nikolai’s attention snapped to River, and he charged forward with a fierce painful cry. River dodged the attack elegantly, but before Nikolai could recover, Cyrus released a blast of icy energy, turning Nikolai into an ice sculpture.
Ophelia’s wings relaxed, her heart racing as she rushed to Nikolai’s frozen form. Tears streamed down her face as she gently cupped his cheek. “Nik,”
“That will hold him, but not for long.” Cyrus’s voice was low and cautious.
Ophelia sniffled, taking in Nikolai’s disheveled appearance. His usual strength and vitality were nowhere to be seen, replaced by a frail, vulnerable quality. “Will it be enough to hold him until we find Tiana?”
Just then, Tiana’s ghostly form materialized behind Nikolai, her face twisted in a scowl. Her rage was palpable as she glared at the dragons. “You! Why are you all obstructing my plans? He cannot be saved! Not by anyone but me! And it’s something I will never do!”
Ophelia’s glare was lethal. “Haven’t you done enough? There’s no way you’ll
win.”
Tiana’s grin was maniacal. “Oh, darling, if I don’t win, I’ll just kill him.”
Ophelia’s anxiety spiked, but River’s firm grip on her hand calmed her frazzled nerves.
“Do it,” Cyrus’s voice was low and deadly.
An emerald chain materialized, wrapping around Tiana and pinning her in

place. Panic flickered in her eyes. “What… what is this?!” she screamed.
Sasha, Danil, and Viktor appeared on the scene, their eyes narrowing as they gazed at Tiana in their wolf–like forms.
Tiana suddenly burst into hysterical laughter. “Do you foolish children think you can stop me? Your parents couldn’t!”
“Shut up! Ugh!” Danil’s annoyance boiled over. He strode up to Tiana, effortlessly prying the Blood Pearl from her grasp.
Tiana’s smile disintegrated, replaced by a stunned expression. “Wha… What did you…?”
Her gaze snapped to Sasha, her eyes blazing with malice. “Die!” She shrieked, releasing a blindingly bright blast straight at Sasha.
Just as the attack was about to strike, a fiery glow shield materialized in front of Sasha, dispersing the blast. As the glow faded, Lev stood revealed, his eyes fixed threateningly on Tiana. His arm wrapped possessively around Sasha’s waist, holding her close.
Sasha’s jaw dropped in astonishment. Ophelia and River exclaimed in unison, “Lev!” Ophelia’s voice was heavy with shock, while River’s was infused with utter disbelief.
Lev’s response was a disarmingly innocent smile, accompanied by a casual
wave.
“Good timing?” He asked, a hint of amusement in his voice.
Danil chuckled, toying with the Blood Pearl. “Probably.”
Viktor’s expression turned stern. “Give me that!” He snatched the pearl, and it vanished from his grip, enveloped in a crimson glow.
Meanwhile, within the castle walls, the Blood Pearl suddenly materialized in Vladmir’s grasp. He exhaled a sigh of relief, his eyes locking onto Selene

and Valerian, who shared his sentiment.
Vladmir handed the pearl to the Moon Goddess, who closed her eyes, her hand cradling the gem. The pearl began to radiate a sharp, brilliant light, its surface cracking under the intense energy. With a sharp bang, the pearl shattered into nothingness.
Outside, Tiana’s anguished scream pierced the air as she dropped to her knees. “No… No… This can’t be happening! This isn’t what I wanted!” Her cries fell on deaf ears, met with silence from the assembled group.
