Time seemed to have stopped.
Ophelia plunging to her death while Lev soars to the skies.
The sudden attack on Ophelia caused the lycans to all halt, and a shriek of horror could be heard. She was then abruptly enveloped in a dense, black mist that completely encompassed her as she got closer to the earth.
ist covered the entire castle grounds, creating a dreadful darkness licited mutters and whispers of apprehension and perplexity.

as felt by all. Rage. Unquenchable rage that won’t go away till the agoness opens her eyes.
Alina hurried outside, racing through the dense fog that had blocked out all nighttime light and created a blinding darkness. She raised her head and peered intently at the fortified castle that protruded majestic and erect. But her son, who was drenched in black mist and with crimson eyes that flashed with unyielding wrath, stood atop the highest tower.
“Goddess!” She put her palm on her chest and uttered in a whisper. “Nikolai please, no.”
As Nikolai disappeared from view, the night was filled with ominous growls and snarls of horror. The only other sounds were the thuds of bodies collapsing to the ground, yet her ears heard muffled groans of pain.
The mist suddenly dissipated, and Alina found herself in the middle of lycans’ bodies, each with a terribly distorted face caused by claws, but all of them with their hearts laying in front of them. She turned her attention to her son, who was moving slowly and carefully in the direction of the

comatose dragoness, who was now floating because of the swirling mist. It was impossible to conceal the spear protruding from her body.
Every stride he made was strong yet cautious, as if he didn’t want to trust what he was seeing. His claws were out and covered in the blood of the victims he had slain. Blood had fully covered his hands.
His dark, flaming, crimson eyes twisted and turned. He parted his lips, holding Ophelia, the mist that was encircling her and the mist seeping out of him combined and started to swirl about them both as he embraced her.
Her lovely face was pallid, and even through her garments, her flesh felt leadly cold. Her white dress at the chest had entirely turned red from being
saturated with her own blood.
He tenderly clasped the spear tightly with a menacing look on his lips that was tinged with skepticism. He closed his eyes, exploding into a loud laugh giving everyone watching him chills. The metal tip was smeared with priceless blood.
The darkness of his closed eyes was initially penetrated by Ophelia’s radiant smile, followed by the sight of a spear protruding from her torso.
He clicked his tongue shaking his head as his grip tightened on the spear. “I told you, Ophelia, that you can’t leave me.” His voice was quiet and heavy, like a stream that was empty of life.
“Unfortunately, I can never stop you in this way.” He made a low growl that more closely resembled twisted coaxing. His thick black demon eyes flashed awake at that very instant, and without blinking, he drew out a
spear.
He set the spear aside and turned to look at her as her dress began to turn red. It continued to spread. Nikolai felt as though a needle had been inserted into his heart as he saw her unmoving and covered in her own blood. The more he stared at her, the more fury he was feeling at what had

happened to her.
Ophelia was a dragon. She was meant to awaken after the spear was removed, but her body was only growing colder and colder.
Nikolai cocked his head to the side and fixed his eyes on the spear before flashing a sinister smile as his eyes turned back into their scarlet form. “Of
course.”

helia was the focus of Nikolai’s attention. His eyes had no life in them. ev would have identified Nikolai as a serial killer right away if he hadn’t known that Nikolai had feelings for his sister. Although the mist seeping out of him mindlessly gave him away, Lev had never seen somebody who was calm when angry.
“Ophelia!” An amiable voice called.
Lev turned to the source, he saw a demon with his black wings spread wide, holding a well-known dark fairy in his arms, She appeared to have witnessed a ghost.
Rhaziel placed Esmeralda as they descended in front of Lev, but just as she turned to run for Nikolai and Ophelia, Rhaziel grabbed her arm and stopped her in her tracks.
“What are you…”
“Nikolai will murder you. In his current state, not even I can approach him.” Rhazieł murmured, his face displaying a hint of empathy at how terrified Esmeralda appeared. Tears streamed from her amber eyes.

“Listen to me.” His wings disappeared, he let go of her hand and turned to face Nikolai.
Rhaziel approached him slowly before pausing to take a deep breath.
“Dimorie?”
“I’ll give her some of my blood.” Nikolai said right away, keeping Ophelia in his full attention. His voice remained uncomfortably calm and devoid of life like a dangerous storm building in the distance.
“Your blood is corrupted; you are casting too much dark magic.” Rhaziel said with as much directness as he could muster. Something told him that Nikolai would be bup till Ophelia awakens.

had serious concerns for Ophelia. She intended to make whoever had hurt her pay for what they had done. Despite the tears in her eyes, she adopted a confident demeanor as she walked away, crossing the field of corpses, and then returning to the castle.
Lev was glaring with absolute hatred at the castle. For him, this was war.
“Who did this to her?” Lev asked the demon who stared at him with slightly
amusement.
