Brandon sent Brianna the details for the dinner party.
Brianna texted back, “Pick me up at my place.”

After finishing work at noon, she went home early, took a shower, carefully did her makeup, and chose a stunning, classy dress.
All dolled up, she waited for Brandon to come pick her up.
When you need a favor, you have to act like the ideal wife. Brianna knew that all too well.
That evening, Brandon knocked on Brianna’s door.
She wore a shimmering satin evening dress, her hair swept up in an elegant bun. A diamond necklace graced her slender neck, its centerpiece-a six-carat square ruby-set off her flawless, porcelain skin.
Diamond earrings and a sparkling bracelet added the finishing touches, making her look both glamorous and refined.
When she opened the door, she flashed Brandon a bright, radiant smile.
Brandon was momentarily stunned.
Her beauty was like a woodland fairy-unspoiled by the mundane, ethereal and enchanting.
Brandon, ever the gentleman, took her arm.
He couldn’t help stealing glances at her from the corner of his eye.
Brianna noticed the admiration in his eyes.
A smile played at her lips.
“Tonight, I might just have him eating out of my hand,’ Brianna thought to herself.
Brianna navigated the dinner party like a pro, handling everything with ease.
She stepped up as the lady of the house, making sure the Levy Group left their partners thoroughly impressed.
By the end of the dinner, Brandon was more than a little tipsy, a suggestive smirk lingering on his face.
“Are we going home tonight?” he asked.
“Yeah, we are,” Brianna replied.
Brianna had had a few drinks herself, and the rosy flush beneath her eyes made her look even more seductive.

Brandon leaned back in his seat, closed his eyes, and just rested for a moment.

Brianna gazed out at the city lights, thinking about how she was going to broach the subject later.
By the time they got home, it was already the early hours of the morning.
Kendra had long since gone to bed.
Brandon headed straight upstairs.
Judy noticed both of them had been drinking.
Judy had prepared some hangover soup.
Brianna, knowing she needed a favor from Brandon, put on her best attitude and drank her soup with a smile, no hesitation at all.
She took the tray Judy handed her.
“Let me take care of it,” Brianna said.
Then, carrying the hangover soup herself, she headed upstairs.
Judy stood there, completely stunned.
‘Brianna is so gorgeous tonight, I can’t even look away, Judy thought.
‘She’s actually taking the hangover soup up to Brandon herself?’ Judy wondered.
‘Are they about to patch things up?’ Judy couldn’t help but think.
Brianna walked into the room, carrying the tray.
Brandon had just stepped out of the bathroom after a quick shower.
A towel was slung low around his hips, and water droplets still clung to his chiseled chest and abs.
When he saw Brianna come in, he looked up at her.
She couldn’t help but stare at his tall, muscular frame.
She subconsciously swallowed, unable to take her eyes off him.
“What’s wrong?” Brandon asked softly.
He was a lot clearer-headed after the shower.
“Here’s your hangover soup, Brianna said, feeling her cheeks flush. Guess I had a bit too much to drink,’ she thought.
Brandon walked over, took the bowl, and finished it in one go.

They were standing so close, she could feel his warmth.
His scent, mingled with the lingering steam from his shower, surrounded her, drawing her in.
It left her feeling restless, her mind unsettled.

Brandon set the bowl back on the tray, his gaze locked on her, a trace of ambiguous desire flickering in his
eyes.
Just as he was about to lose control, he quickly turned away, acting like he was drying his hair as he stepped aside.
Brianna stayed rooted to the spot.
She watched him, her face still flushed.
“What’s wrong?” Brandon asked.
She set the tray down on the coffee table.
“I need to talk to you,” she said.
Brandon frowned.
Brandon took a seat on the couch.
A playful smile tugged at the corner of Brandon’s eyes as he reached out his hand. “Come here.”
She rose and walked over, slipping her hand into his, standing before him and waiting for his judgment.
Desire blazed in his gaze, a seductive smirk curling his lips. “Beg me.”
A shiver ran down Brianna’s spine.
It was both his demand and the heat simmering in his eyes that sent a thrill through her.
That desire set her whole body ablaze, threatening to burn her up from the inside out.
Fueled by the wine, she climbed onto Brandon’s lap, looped her arms around his neck, and pulled him in for

a kiss.
They lost themselves in each other all night long, unable to let go.

The next morning, Brianna opened her eyes and found herself staring right into Brandon’s smoldering bedroom eyes.
She was lying in Brandon’s arms.
They were so close, she could feel his breath softly brushing against her face.

“Morning,” Brianna said, feeling a bit awkward. ‘Why does waking up next to him always make my heart race?’ she thought.
She was about to sit up, but Brandon’s big hand caught her and pulled her right back, making her tumble onto his chest.
Brandon wrapped his arm around her waist, capturing her lips in a fierce, passionate kiss.
Feeling his hands getting bolder, Brianna awkwardly pushed him away.
‘Seriously, what’s with this guy? Wasn’t last night wild enough for him?’ she thought.
Brandon slipped his arm around her waist again, moving in close, ready to steal another kiss.
Suddenly, someone started banging on the door, urgent and loud.
“Dad, Mom, hurry up! I’m gonna be late!” Kendra shouted.
Brianna practically jumped out of bed, rushing to open the door.
Kendra threw her arms around her mom.
“Mommy,” Kendra said in her sweetest voice, “can you come home earlier next time? Don’t always wait until I’m asleep to come back.”
“Okay,” Brianna said, practically treating Kendra like her savior as she quickly agreed.
Brandon’s face was dark as he grabbed a T-shirt to cover himself and awkwardly slipped into the bathroom.
Just before closing the door, he cast Kendra a mournful glance.
‘Next time Brianna comes home, I’m definitely sending Kendra to my mom’s place first, Brandon thought to himself.
