Jenna almost blurted out, “You’ve been deceived by Joseph. If you fall in love with him now, you’ll only suffer more in the future.”

She examined Yara and was able to determine that Yara was still a virgin, which meant that she and Joseph had not slept together.

It seemed Joseph wasn’t completely without boundaries after all.

Jenna felt somewhat relieved. If Joseph had really slept with Yara, she would’ve been jealous and heartbroken. After all, the fact that Joseph would rather have Yara than her would have been deeply hurtful to her.

Skylar was in this state because of Joseph. And now, Joseph was going after his younger sister too. How could he not be pissed?

Jenna said, “There’s more to Henry’s situation. It has something to do with Yara. There are people around, so let’s go back to the office and talk.”

With people nearby, Jenna remained cautious and led Gemma back to the office.

Once they got in, she said, “There’s something I haven’t told you. Yara took Henry away from me because she thinks of him as her man now. That’s the real reason Skylar was furious.”

“What? When did this happen? Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” Gemma responded, secretly feeling troubled.

She, too, had feelings for Henry. So, she felt very reluctant to let Yara take him away just like that.

Jenna said, “It only happened recently. Yara didn’t discuss it with me beforehand, nor did she give me any time to accept it. She just called me and said, ‘From now on, Henry is my man. He has nothing to do with you.’ That’s it. When I questioned her, she just brought up the Zahn family rules.”

Gemma felt annoyed. “Seriously? Yara has no shame! She’s barely hanging on to life, and she still has the nerve to piss us off! She’s always snatching up every good thing for herself. Did she even consider whether she’d be able to take it?”
