Alpha Daddies And Their Innocent Little Maid (18+) novel Chapter 193

Lilith pov

“What are you most afraid of, Lilith?”

If anyone asked me that question, I already had an answer.

I wouldn’t even need to think about it.

It wasn’t death.

It wasn’t sickness.

It wasn’t pain.

It was helplessness.

What terrified me the most was the feeling of helplessness. The feeling of standing there and watching the people I loved suffer while being unable to do anything. Unable to protect them. Unable to save them.

The feeling of being weak.

A scream ripped from my throat.

Raw rage surged violently through every vein in my body as I launched myself at Samuel without hesitation, the ground beneath my feet cracking apart from the force.

My hand shot straight toward his chest, toward his heart. My eyes burned red with murderous intent, every inch of me shaking with fury and Samuel—Samuel laughed.

A wide grin stretched across his face as he stared at me with twisted amusement, like my rage itself entertained him.

This man…

This monster….

He was the reason so many people died.

The reason innocent women were violated.

The reason men screamed in torture chambers until their voices gave out.

The reason entire families were destroyed.

Hatred clawed violently through my chest but just before my fingers could pierce through his heart, he vanished. Sand exploded where he once stood, scattering wildly into the air.

My attack sliced through empty space.

Then—a voice echoed behind me.

Mocking.

Amused.

Excited.

“Yes…” Samuel drawled softly. “You’re fast. Strong too, even without your wolf right now, Lilith.” His voice darkened with laughter. “But without your golden wolf… can you really defeat me?”

The second his words landed, I moved.

I didn’t answer.

Didn’t hesitate.

The sand beneath my feet burst apart as I appeared behind him instantly, my hand lunging toward his chest again, fingers curled like claws.

My entire body trembled violently with rage as memories flashed endlessly through my mind.

My father’s fake death during the war, only to be alive but tutored beyond recognition.

My mother drinking wolfbane and then dying after years of being in a coma.

The whispers calling me cursed, broken and unwanted. The years of isolation, the pain, the loneliness. The ritual.

Every memory burned through me like fire and just before my hand could pierce into him—Samuel tilted his head slightly with a wild grin.

“The only reason you were ever special,” he whispered, “was because of the golden wolf. Without it…” he continued softly, almost mockingly, “you’re just the same Lilith from before.”

His grin widened.

“The weak Lilith.”

The moment those words left his mouth, he disappeared again but this time, I moved with him. The instant he reappeared, I was already there.

Right in front of him.

My leg swung toward his ribs with terrifying force while my other hand shot toward his throat at the exact same time, leaving him no space to escape.

Boom!

The ground exploded beneath us.

Samuel’s grin widened sharply as he twisted sideways, barely dodging my kick before catching my wrist but I twisted with him immediately, using his grip against him as my elbow slammed toward his jaw.

He ducked.

I spun.

My heel sliced through the air toward his head.

Sand burst wildly around us as our movements blurred across the battlefield fast enough to leave afterimages behind.

Every attack I threw carried rage.

Pain.

Years of suffering.

Samuel blocked another strike, his hand suddenly snapping around my wrist midair. Before I could react—

He yanked me toward him violently.

My body slammed against his chest, so close there was barely an inch between us now.

I looked up at him instantly.

My expression didn’t change in the slightest.

I glared at him with pure hatred while that same twisted smile remained etched across his face like he was enjoying every second of this.
