The other colleagues, already fed up with Jade's constant toxicity, immediately fired back. "We don't even know the whole truth yet! Stop trying to smear June's name!"
Jade rolled her eyes dramatically. "Smear her name? I literally saw it with my own two eyes! She's surrounded by different men. I saw her at a high-end restaurant walking in with this elegant guy, and then she was carried out by an entirely different, incredibly hot guy. It's obvious she's sleeping her way around town. And you guys keep calling her 'June' this and 'June' that! Please. She's a serial homewrecker. Do you even know what that means? It means she makes a living ruining other people's relationships!"
She spat the words out like venom, feeling immensely satisfied that she could finally unleash all her pent-up resentment.
"And the poor girlfriend was pregnant! The baby is dead now! You're all women too—you know how devastating a miscarriage is to a woman's body, right?"
The two female colleagues fell silent. They honestly didn't know much about Juniper's private life outside the studio.
If Juniper really did do something so heinous...
Doubt began to creep onto their faces.
Jade crossed her arms triumphantly. "I say we put together a joint petition right now and send it to Caleb. Demand that he replaces Juniper. If her home address gets leaked, our studio is going to be dragged right into the crossfire. Just wait and see—our business is finally picking up, and she's going to destroy everything we've built."
She spoke with absolute conviction, completely ignoring the fact that the studio's success was entirely due to Juniper's talent.
The others remained quiet, unsure of what to do.
The most concerning part was that they had been ringing the doorbell for half an hour with no answer. Surely she hadn't seen the catastrophic news and gone into hiding, right?
Noticing the wavering expressions on their faces, Jade waved a hand dismissively. "Caleb is active in the group chat right now. Let's just message him and make our stance clear."
