Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 1090

Chapter 1090

“And what makes you think you have the right?” Amos asked.

Aaron went silent.

“Seems to me none of you do.”

Amos had a talent for striking where it hurt most.

He also had a way of seeing straight to the heart of things.

As far as he was concerned, Evan had no right to take Stella away.

But neither did Aaron or Felix.

“She wouldn’t want to go with him,” Aaron said.

This was no longer about who had the right.

It was about what Stella would have wanted.

“But if she were here, she wouldn’t want to go with you either,” Amos replied.

There was no maybe about it.

Felix, Aaron, and Evan.

Stella had wanted nothing to do with any of them.

She would not have chosen to leave with a single one.

“Don’t push me into killing him.”

Aaron meant Evan.

He had no patience left for Amos.

The murderous intent rolling off him made Amos abandon any thought of taking Stella’s remains with them.

He knew Evan would cause a scene when he woke up.

But with Felix and Aaron both there, Amos had no chance of taking anything away.

And so Amos left with Evan, who had passed out from overwhelming grief.

That left only Felix and Aaron behind.

After an entire night, Aaron turned toward Felix.

Usually, any grief that reached him lasted only a moment.

No matter what moved him, he never allowed himself to remain affected for long.

But Stella was different.

Even after a full night, a persistent ache still lingered in Aaron’s chest.
