Don’t Run-2

Dana nodded in agreement but felt a pang of reluctance. She had spent the previous night and the entire day glued to her mate, feeling the bond grow stronger with each passing moment. She sighed deeply as she watched Azriel leave, and then turned her attention back to Tim.

Inside their dimly lit room, Dana took a long breath, looking at Tim’s unconscious form. She cursed softly under her breath. The last thing she needed was to crave something or someone that could never be hers. Each moment spent with Tim made it harder to face the inevitable rejection she knew was coming. At least, she thought bitterly, he was still unconscious, sparing him from the burden she bore alone.

As she lay down next to Tim, her mind churned with thoughts. She couldn’t deny that there had been moments in her long existence when she considered ending it all. The pain and suffering felt insurmountable, yet something inside her always held her back. Looking at Tim now, she realized that all her previous suffering paled in comparison to the agony she would feel when she had to

leave him.

Exhaustion weighed heavily on her as she nestled closer to Tim, his scent and warmth offering a small measure of comfort. Her fingers traced the lines of his face, memorizing every detail. Despite everything, she felt blessed to have this time with him, even if it was fleeting.

Her eyelids grew heavy, and her thoughts blurred as sleep claimed her. In her final moments of

wakefulness, she whispered softly, “Just this once, let me have this moment.”

With that, Dana drifted into a restless sleep, her body curled protectively around Tim, while the

night outside remained still and silent.

Tim waited until Dana’s breathing was slow and regular before he dared to open his eyes. Her curled figure around him was both a comfort and a torment, His heart pounded with anticipation and emotion, each beat echoing in his ears. He couldn’t help but drink in the sight of her, the way her dark hair framed her face, the softness of her skin against his.

But, several minutes later, to his horror, he felt his body reacting to her proximity. His need was raw and unrestrained, while his c**k was hard as steel, a primal response that he struggled to control. * Damn it*, he cursed silently, desperately trying to conjure up images of anything mundane to distract himself. But her scent, her warmth, and the very essence of her were driving him to the brink of madness.

Tim took deep, controlled breaths, attempting to calm the storm within him. Just when he thought he had managed to regain some sort of control, Dana shifted in her sleep. She turned, her back pressing firmly against his lap, her soft curves molding against his hardness. He froze at the

contact, his body taut with tension.

Dana’s body stiffened, awareness seeping into her sleep-addled mind. She felt his rigid and hot length against her and tried to bolt, panic flaring in her chest. But Tim’s strong arm circled her waist, keeping her in place. Both of their breaths became ragged, the sound of their heavy breathing filling the otherwise silent room.

Tim, driven by a need he could no longer suppress, pressed his hardness against her from behind, his grip firm but not painful. The contact sent a shock wave through Dana, her body reacting with a surge of emotion she had never experienced. Despite her many years of serving her master, she never ever felt any desire, everything being just a big theater play that she learned to put on display for her self-preservation.

For a moment, neither of them moved, locked in a battle of wills and desires. Dana’s mind raced, her thoughts a jumble of confusion and longing. She felt the heat of him against her, the strength of his arm holding her close.

Tim’s voice was a low growl, filled with a mixture of desperation and determination. “Mate,” he

whispered, his breath hot against her ear. “Don’t run from this. From us.”

Dana’s breath hitched, her mind spinning. She felt her resolve crumbling, the walls she had built around her heart cracking under the weight of their bond. She knew what she had to do, but every fiber of her being rebelled against it.

“Tim,” she managed to whisper back, her voice trembling. “I can’t…we can’t…

Tim tightened his hold slightly, enough to keep her close but not to hurt her. “Why, Dana? Why are you doing this to us?”

Tears welled in Dana’s eyes, a mixture of frustration and sorrow, mixed with desire, but before she

got the chance to say anything more, he kissed her neck where her mate mark should be and grazed her skin with the tip of his teeth, the gesture sending one million tingles all over her body, keeping her frozen in place.
