Despair-1
Lora’s breath came in ragged gasps, her body trembling uncontrollably as she stood pinned against the cold, unforgiving wall. The Lycan towering over her exuded an overwhelming, suffocating presence, his hot breath ghosting over her skin as he leaned in closer, sniffing her neck
with an animalistic hunger.
She bit down on her lip, trying to suppress the wave of revulsion that threatened to consume her. The bile rising in her throat burned like acid, and it took every ounce of willpower to keep from recoiling in disgust when his sharp fangs grazed her skin.
A sharp jolt of pain shot through her as he nipped her neck, not hard enough to draw blood, but enough to send a surge of panic coursing through her veins. Her heart pounded in her chest, and she could feel the tears welling up in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. She couldn’t show
weakness, not now, not in front of him.
Suddenly, the door to the room burst open, and the first Lycan entered, his presence no less imposing but his demeanor far more controlled. His cold, calculating eyes locked onto Lora for a brief moment before shifting to the Lycan who had her trapped.
“Brother, step away from her,” the first Lycan commanded, his voice low and authoritative. “I told you that she is mine. Go fetch yourself a female and leave mine alone.”
The Lycan pinning Lora to the wall growled in amusement, a twisted smirk playing on his lips as he continued to loom over her, his body caging her in. He didn’t turn to face his brother, instead keeping his focus on Lora, his eyes filled with dark intent.
“We can share,” he suggested, his voice dripping with perverse excitement. “As always. Even at the
same time, don’t tell me that you’re not excited by the prospect.”
Lora’s stomach churned violently, the implications of his words hitting her like a sledgehammer.
They were talking about her as if she were an object, a thing to be used and discarded at their
whim. The sheer depravity of it made her blood run cold, and for a moment, she thought she might actually be sick.
But before she could fully process the horror of the situation, first Lycan’s voice cut through the
room again, this time sharper, more insistent.
“Step away from her, Rome,” he ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument.
For a split second, Lora felt a flicker of relief at his words, thinking perhaps he would put a stop to this nightmare. But that relief was short-lived, quickly extinguished by the chilling words that followed.

Despair 1
“I will be her first.”
Lora’s heart sank, her brief moment of hope crumbling to dust. The cold reality of her situation closed in around her like a vice, leaving her breathless and desperate. She was trapped between
two monsters, and there was no escape.
Rome, the Lycan who had her pinned, let out a low, rumbling chuckle. Slowly, he pulled back just enough to look over his shoulder at his brother, a sly grin on his face.
“Always so possessive, Han,” Rome mocked, though there was a hint of respect in his tone as he finally began to withdraw. He stepped back, giving Lora the smallest amount of space, but it did nothing to alleviate the terror gripping her heart. “Fine. You can have the first taste. But don’t think I’ll let you have all the fun.”
The first Lycan, satisfied with his brother’s compliance, took a step closer to Lora, his eyes gleaming with a cold, predatory hunger. He was different from Rome: calmer, more methodical, but no less dangerous. If anything, his controlled demeanor made him even more terrifying.
Lora pressed herself harder against the wall, her mind racing as she tried to find a way out of this. She couldn’t let this happen. She couldn’t let them take everything from her, to violate her in the most horrifying way. But what could she do? She was weak, drugged with wolfsbane, and Tara was
still barely responsive.
The first Lycan reached out, his hand moving to touch her face, and Lora flinched, turning her head away in a futile attempt to avoid his touch.
