Shredded Vows: The Billionaire’s Secret Heir novel Chapter 9

Lydia was a bit surprised. "Mom, what did you hear? We're doing fine, we're not getting a divorce. Don't listen to the media's nonsense."

"Lydia, just tell him about Gigi!" Grace's heart ached for her daughter as she urged anxiously,

"If he knows you had a child with him, maybe he'll actually stay home for once. A daughter is always her daddy's little girl!" She had been keeping up with the recent news and growing angrier by the minute!

"Mom," Lydia replied calmly, "I have my own plans regarding Gigi. Now that he's back, I'll naturally find the right time to tell him. Please don't do anything rash. Just give us a little more time."

"I know you know what you're doing. Okay, okay, I won't say a word. I won't interfere in your business. I'm just worried about you, with so many people eyeing the title of Mrs. Gray."

"It doesn't matter who eyes it; they can't take it away." Lydia's voice was tinted with a smile, her tone light and breezy. "Mom, take care of yourself. I'll come visit you when I have time."

Outside the main lobby of Gray Enterprises, a crowd of reporters still lingered. Having failed to get a direct interview with Gideon, they refused to give up!

Soon, a red Ferrari came speeding over and parked flawlessly a short distance from the entrance.

It immediately drew the attention of all the reporters.

The imposing car doors swung open, and an unearthly handsome man dressed in a luxury suit stepped out.

"It's Harrell!!"

"The CEO of terling Media, Harrell!!"

Harrell hadn't even taken a few steps before the swarm of reporters rushed over to surround him. He waved them off. "Don't interview me! I have no comment on anything involving the Heir of the Capital!"

With that, he held up a hand to block them and took long strides inside. His sheer presence was so overwhelming that no one dared block his path. They shouted questions one after another, but he didn't answer a single one.

At the lobby entrance, Harrell was let through by the bodyguards, while the reporters were held back. The bustling crowd clung to their hopes, still refusing to leave.

On the thirty-eighth floor, just out of the elevator.

Dave, carrying a stack of documents, walked over and spotted him. "Good afternoon, Mr. Sterling."

"Is Gideon here? I need to see him about something." A hint of a smile danced in the man's attractive eyes.
