fire in Cecilia’s eyes did something to me. I wasn’t proud of it, but I could feel my cock hardening. I had to think about

thing else… anything else. Not the way her lips grow pouty, or that flash of devious rebertion in her eyes… not the flush of

eeks or the way she places her hands on her hips, tilting her head slightly as she stares up at me.

certainly not the smooth lining of her neck that I want to run my tongue down.

blinked and shook my head, chasing those thoughts away. She was right… I had found my mate… even though I have no idea who she is or where she might be hiding, she was out there somewhere. Closer than I could ever imagine and yet here I was, fantasizing about my concubine.

Maybe I truly was a monster, or at the very least, deranged.

“Tomorrow,” I murmured. “We will continue this conversation tomorrow.”

And then I turned and stormed out of her room, shutting the door behind me. I didn’t go far, though; I stood outside her door, my back towards it, and something inside of me begged for me to go back into that room, not to let her go. But I couldn’t…
