Elise couldn’t hold it in any longer.

The corners of her lips lifted, and she burst out laughing.

Harold walked into the kitchen and washed his hands.

“What is it?”

“A man went to the doctor and said, ‘Doctor, I think I’m invisible.’ The doctor looked around and said, ‘Who said that?””

Harold kept washing his hands, his expression as serious as

ever.

“It’s a little funny.”

With his back to her, Harold reached for a paper towel to dry his hands but missed.
