The Coldest Man in the Room Melted Only for Me novel Chapter 10

“It doesn't matter. I'll take a walk in the garden.” Sebastian stood up and walked toward the archway leading outside.

Riley couldn't take her eyes off his long, powerfully striding legs.

Wasn't he supposed to be paralyzed?

Wasn't he supposed to be in a wheelchair?

How was he walking perfectly fine?

As her confusion deepened, those long legs suddenly came to a halt.

The man turned and looked straight at her.

Their eyes met across the room.

Riley's pupils trembled. Did he have eyes in the back of his head? Had he caught her staring?

The next second, she snapped her gaze away and stared firmly at the floor.

“I hear you make an excellent cup of tea?”

Was he talking to her?

Whether he was or wasn't, she was going to pretend he wasn't. He hadn't used her name, after all.

“Sebastian, do you want some tea? I'm great at making tea. Let me brew some for you!” Stella Landon practically leaped up, practically glowing as she hurried toward him.

Sebastian's assistant stepped in, raising a hand to stop her, his tone deadpan. “Ms. Landon, Mr. St. John wasn't speaking to you.”

Stella's face flushed bright red. Looking incredibly wronged, she turned to Sebastian. “Sebastian, he's bullying me.”

Sebastian didn't say a word. He turned and walked away.

Stella tried to chase after him, but Arthur snapped, “Sit back down!”

She stamped her foot in frustration but didn't dare disobey, slumping back into her seat.
