The triplets had been born three days before the February full moon. The Luna Alpha ceremony was now four and a half weeks away. Laud had decided she was going to have the same style of dress that Misha had chosen for the full moon, with Declan scenting them out.

It had a deep sweetheart neckline, with just one shoulder strap and some very pretty embroidery all over the corseted bodice. It was for her and the girls very much a princess kind of dress, because it had more flare than her blue dress. It had made them all chuckle a little when Lauds’ choice had been made. She’d not expected this from her wolf.

Though she had to admit even to herself, that it was more than pretty, she liked it even though she thought it was very over the top. It had a slight high-low style to the skirt of the dress, and the dress itself draped along the floor, as she walked about in it. She’d wanted to take it up, but Laud had said no, this was her dress and she liked it as it was. Liked that it

would follow along behind her everywhere she went.

Laud loved the color of the dress. Everything her wolf picked out was bright and bold. This dress was magenta in color with a deeply flowing skirt that was white to pink ombre. The front had curled edges around the high-low part of the dress, and many flowing curling magenta ribbons. That were attached to the skirt in many places to see them stay like that.

Laud thought the ribbons represented the name of the pack. She looked at them as if they were like whispers told from the flowers of the bodice and then flowed down the dress.

Outside, behind the packhouse, there were going to be many round tables with white tablecloths and chairs, all with magenta napkins and in the center of each table was a flower arrangement. Pretty and colorful like the dress Laud had picked, each one filled with magenta, purple and pink flowers, with a few white roses blended in, to tie it all together.

The set-up was, to Declan’s annoyance, a little on the plain side, but Laud had surfaced and pouted at him. “For me, my way.” She’d told him, and he’d sighed and relented, allowing her to have her way on the condition that he could go big with her Luna Jewelry.

Laud had nodded. “Sparkles everywhere.” Laud had smiled. “I like shiny and bright.”

Declan had laughed and hugged Laud, called her adorable, and promised lots of bling. Mischa knew he was spending big on the jewelry, there was no curbing him, she’d given up trying to stop him when he’d shaken his head and stated, “It’s what Laud wants.” There was no winning; it was three to one.

She’d woken up this morning, on the day of the full moon, with him right there sitting on the

bed, three black velvet boxes before him, and he’d smiled, “As Laud requested Rubies and sparkle.” He’d chuckled and held out the smallest box to her first. “This one is for you Mish, the other two a for Laud, Wild picked her jewelry and I picked this out for you.” He’d stated.

Misha had opened it, knowing it was a ring box. Inside was a white gold diamond and ruby ring, one large round ruby in the center with two diamond-filled crescent moons on either side, and then rubies around the band, then there was what kind of looked to her like an upside-down tiara of diamonds at the bottom.

She smiled at it. “It’s very pretty,” she stated.

“I figured, since Selena and you have a good connection, I’d incorporate her into the design. That center stone also looks like a blood moon to me.” He slipped it from the box and picked her hand up to slip that ring on her finger.

She smiled. “Laud likes it.” She told him, “Wagging her tail like crazy.”

“Does she want to see what she gets? Don’t you be jealous now. Wild went a little wild.” He chuckled at his own play on words, something she’d found he liked to do. He had once stated, ‘Good lord, Laud, and then had to run from Laud as she’d turned her eyes on him in an are you kidding kind of look.

“I’m not going to get jealous.” She shook her head, “What’s hers is mine and what’s mine is hers,” she’d said, and then let Laud push forward to look at Declan, “Moon Goddess like ring.” She told him.

“I think so too.” He’d nodded and leaned over and tilted her chin up and kissed her softly and Laud purred for him. Then Wild was looking at her, and he touched his forehead to hers for a long moment before leaning back and to smiled at her. “For you, bling like you requested.”

He opened both boxes for her, one at a time, and there was a matching necklace and earring set, three rows of diamond-chipped teardrop-shaped petals, that formed a choker-style necklace. Then right in the center to sit at the hollow of her two collar bones were four square cut rubies set in square diamond chip surrounds, with a diamond flower in the center, and from them hung seven diamond leaves with a single ruby at the bottom of each one.

Matching chandelier earrings sat in the second box. “Sparkly,” Laud smiled. “Love it. Perfect Wild.” She’d told him, “Go with my dress too.”

He nodded, “I know. More pink than red. Because you like bright.” Then she turned and opened the draw next to the bed and pulled out a white box and held it out to him, “I got you gift. Everyone know you mine.” Laud told him. “You wear, all the time.”

Wild smiled at her and nodded. “If makes you happy, I will wear.” He stated and took the box. Inside was a men’s ring in white gold, with a single ruby in one corner.

Laud touched the bottom corner of it where a small round ruby was inlaid into it,”To match my sparkle, which matches your eyes.” Then she touched the top corner opposite the ruby. “swirls like our filigree.”

Wild nodded, “Or whispers swirling in the breeze.” He took it from the box and slipped it on his finger. “Declan likes it. Simple but flashy at the same time.”

He’d receded and Declan had smiled at Laud. “I will wave it any woman looking at me.”

“You’d better,” Laud had told him, and receded.

Mischa smiled at him. “She wanted to go full sparkle. I had to talk her down, otherwise you’d be wearing something like mine.”

Declan nodded. “Then I thank you.”

He’d gotten up, and they’d eaten breakfast, and he’d left her with the girls. Anne and Lisa had taken the pups for the day. So they could have a relaxing day and get ready.

She’d pulled on the dress when it was time to and the girls curled her hair and pulled it half up. Laud had insisted on magenta curling ribbons coming from the clip holding her hair back. They were just about ready when Declan came into the suite and stopped and looked at her. His eyes roamed over her in that dress. He’d not seen it at all, only knew the color of it and a soft growl came from him. “Beautiful,” he’d stated and walked over to where she stood, “I came to put your jewelry on you, and you and I will walk down together, but let Laud and Wild step out of the packhouse, for the pack to see her in all her splendor.”

He was wearing a dark grey, double-breasted vest, three-piece suit with a white dress shirt and magenta tie and handkerchief. “You look good Dec.” she smiled up at him.

“I know,” he winked at her. “You can rip it off me later, but that dress we’re not destroying, and Laud may wear it any time she likes.” He smiled and picked up her jewelry to place it around her neck and do it up, hand her the earrings for her to put in.

Then he hugged her from behind, tilted her face up and around, and kissed her softly on her pink lips, “Let’s go and thank Selena. All our guests are here and out there waiting.”

She smiled and nodded, and they walked from the suite to the elevator and headed outside,

to where she knew not only were Nick and Lucinda, both their units were there, but the new Alpha of Night Whispers had come, bringing Letti, Rebecca, Kendrick and Dereck for her ceremony.
