The Harrison Estate.
Yolanda sat at the vanity in her bedroom, staring at the screen of her phone.
The photo displayed a sharp, cold profile of Sebastian standing by the window of his office at the Sullivan Group.
She had secretly snapped it the last time she visited him.
Yolanda stared at the picture for a long time, a slow smile curving her lips.
The more she looked at him, the more captivating he became.
She knew she was already falling fast.
Suddenly, her phone vibrated. It was a message from Sebastian.
"Are you free tomorrow night? Let's grab dinner."
Yolanda's eyes lit up. She quickly typed a single word: "Yes."
As soon as she hit send, she regretted replying so fast, worrying she might not seem aloof enough. But it was too late.
Sebastian quickly replied, "What are you in the mood for? I'll have my secretary make a reservation."
"Whatever you choose is fine. I'm not picky," Yolanda typed, pausing to weigh her words before adding, "But I'm not a fan of formal dining. It's a bit too stiff."
"A casual spot it is, then. I know an exclusive bistro that's pretty good. I'll pick you up tomorrow."
Yolanda hugged her phone to her chest, her eyes crinkling with a massive smile.
Perfect.
It seemed Sebastian was finally paying real attention to her.
She had waited for this day for far too long.
From their school days in the UK to the bustling corporate world of the city, she had always been waiting for Sebastian to look her way.
Now, he finally saw her.
As for Seraphina...
Yolanda thought back to the sight of Seraphina at the banquet, heavily pregnant, and a wave of complicated emotions washed over her.
Sebastian claimed she was just an ex-fiancée, but his eyes told a different story.
The way he looked at Seraphina was entirely different from how he looked at anyone else.
He had someone new—someone prettier, someone with a much better family background.
"Yolanda..." Sienna's voice trembled as she said the name out loud.
The background check from the private investigator stated that Yolanda was the younger daughter of the Harrison family. Her sister, Gillian, was a famous corporate powerhouse, their parents were happily married, and their family wealth was staggering.
Yolanda herself was flawless—a graduate of a top-tier university who navigated the city's elite social circles with ease.
How was Sienna supposed to compete with that?
She couldn't even get past the front doors of the Sullivan Group anymore, yet Yolanda could waltz in to see Sebastian whenever she pleased, and he even picked her up personally.
Sienna tore the photos into pieces, one by one, throwing them into the trash can. She grabbed her phone and dialed Sebastian's number.
She hesitated for a long time before finally pressing call.
It rang four times before he declined it.
Refusing to give up, Sienna called again.
This time, the phone was turned off entirely.
Sienna's hand began to shake as her eyes rimmed red. Finally losing control, she hurled her phone violently against the couch.
