Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 247

Rowena closed her eyes in utter despair.

Just what kind of garbage had she been pouring her soul into promoting all these years?

Getting by on his looks?

If the company hadn't burned astronomical amounts of cash to promote him, how could that face alone have ever carried him to the top?

The only reason the investors were willing to bet on him was because they believed he could write another hit of the same caliber and become a true superstar.

Who would have guessed he was nothing more than a hollow, talentless thief who had played the entire agency for fools!

"You're done, Ian. It's completely over."

Rowena looked down at the man begging at her feet, her eyes filled with nothing but venom and disgust. "Starting today, you don't even deserve to step foot in this industry. Enjoy your ruined reputation. You're going to rot in the mud and never climb out!"

With a sharp kick, she shoved him away and marched out of the VIP room without a backward glance.

"Rowena! Listen to me!" Ian stumbled to his feet and scrambled after her. His carefully crafted idol persona was completely gone, leaving him looking pathetic as he tripped over his own feet.

Watching Ian run out ruined and stripped of everything, Phoenix curled her lips into a cold smile. With the power she held now, crushing a worthless rat like him was as easy as lifting a finger.

"That was incredibly satisfying," Macy grinned, swirling her wine glass. "This show was a hundred times better than his first scandal."

"I wasn't behind the first one," Phoenix said with a helpless shrug, though Pierce's face uninvitedly crossed her mind. If that man found out what she did today, would he try to insert himself into her business again?

Ever since their paths crossed, Pierce seemed unnervingly invested in her affairs.

"Well, a live-streamed scandal with hard evidence is a death sentence. Not even God could save him now," Macy commented, her eyes dancing with schadenfreude. "I bet the Prescott family is avoiding him like the plague."

"Alistair values reputation above all else. After causing a disaster this massive, Ian will never step foot in the Prescott estate again."

At that thought, Macy's gaze sharpened, a ruthless edge slipping into her voice. "Who's next? I can't wait to watch everyone who hurt you lose absolutely everything."

"No rush," Phoenix said, a dangerous glint flashing in her eyes. "Destroying them all at once is too boring. I'm going to push them toward the abyss, step by step, and force them to watch everything they cherish turn to ash. Only that kind of despair can soothe my anger."

Macy's heart ached for her. Reaching out, she pulled Phoenix into a tight hug. "I'll follow your lead. Say the word, and I'll be the blade that clears your path."
