Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 288

Julian looked at Vanessa with a heavy sigh. "Mom, you have to see the truth by now. This entire family... was destroyed by Phoebe. The second brother is lying in a hospital with a permanently ruined face and a dead future. The third brother had a complete mental breakdown and wanders around like a ghost."

"If we don't wake up right now and own up to the atrocities we committed, this family is truly finished."

"I..."

"You ungrateful bastard, if you utter one more word of this nonsense, I will formally disown you," Warren spat his final threat. Yet, instead of sparking fear, those words simply brought a look of profound relief to Julian's face.

"So this is the suffocating trap Phoenix was trapped in."

"Surrounded by a family that was completely blind, and a two-faced parasite whispering poison in their ears. It must have been absolute hell for her."

Julian shook his head with a bitter laugh. He knew perfectly well that the hostility he was facing right now was likely only a fraction of what Phoenix had endured for years.

He finally understood the sheer, suffocating despair in Phoenix's eyes the day they had sent her to that prison. The agonizing helplessness of being condemned with no way to fight back.

"Mom, come with me." Julian looked at Vanessa, his voice firm and unwavering. "We've made too many horrific mistakes. But if we turn around right now, we might still have a chance. Let's go find Phoenix. Let's get on our knees and start atoning for what we did."

Vanessa's heart trembled violently. She opened her mouth to speak, but after shooting a terrified glance at the explosive Warren standing beside her, she slowly lowered her head.

Seeing her reaction, Julian let out a heavy breath and didn't push her any further. "Take care of yourself, Mom. As of today, this house isn't worth returning to anyway."

"Get out! Get the hell out of my sight!!"

Watching Julian turn his back and walk away without a shred of hesitation, Warren's sanity completely snapped. He violently swept everything off the nearest tables, sending priceless antiques crashing to the floor.

"Phoenix, you treacherous bitch! What kind of black magic did you use to turn my own eldest son against me?!" His eyes were bloodshot, his entire body trembling with psychotic rage. "I am going to destroy you. I will completely destroy you."

Just then, Lawrence calmly walked over, looking down at Warren with utter apathy.

"What do you want?" Warren snarled.

Lawrence offered a polite, incredibly empty smile as he handed over an itemized clipboard. "Mr. Prescott, this is the itemized bill for every piece of property you just destroyed. Please process your reimbursement immediately."

Warren's pupils contracted violently. He gasped for air, failed to catch his breath, and instantly blacked out, collapsing to the floor.

"Dad!!"

"Warren!!"

Phoebe and Vanessa shrieked, frantically rushing to check on him.

Lawrence's expression didn't shift in the slightest. He calmly stepped back and typed out a brief, highly objective report of the incident, sending it directly to Phoenix.

When Phoenix read the text detailing the chaos at the estate, a faint, deeply satisfied smile touched her lips.

"It seems the plan was a massive success. Now that Warren and Julian have completely severed ties, the Prescott family's countdown to total annihilation has officially begun." Phoenix set her phone aside and walked over to the wine cabinet. She pulled out a bottle of red wine, intending to catch a slight buzz and celebrate the victory.

She poured herself a glass, gently swirling the crimson liquid. The wine caught the dim, golden light of the room, looking breathtakingly vibrant.
