Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 306

Silas sat in the CEO's office, running his hands over the premium leather armrests, his eyes sparkling with pure elation.

He looked around the massive office, taking in the floor-to-ceiling windows that offered a breathtaking view of Cloudhaven, utterly unable to hide his ecstasy.

Was this the view Pierce got to enjoy every single day?

It truly was... an absolute masterpiece.

Silas walked over to the towering wine cabinet, pulled out a bottle of Romanée-Conti, popped the cork without a second thought, and took a massive swig.

These were all the luxuries Pierce used to enjoy, and now, they belonged entirely to him.

“Romanée-Conti... not even that impressive. I'll have to source better wine, definitely better than whatever Pierce drank, and stuff this whole cabinet full.” Silas stood in front of the window, one hand buried in his pocket. He felt like a newly crowned king about to build an unstoppable empire.

“Seems you're really enjoying everything you just stole.”

A cold, mocking voice drifted through the room.

Silas's pupils constricted as he whipped around. He found Pierce leaning casually against the doorframe, watching him with an amused smirk.

“Pierce?! What the hell are you doing back here? Who let you in?!” Silas's face paled, the hand holding the Romanée-Conti beginning to tremble.

Wait!

I'm the CEO of the Sterling Group now. Why should I be afraid of him?

Without his CEO title, Pierce is absolutely nothing!

At that thought, Silas immediately puffed out his chest, banishing the panic from his eyes as he glared arrogantly at the man in front of him.

“Do you really think anyone in this building has the guts to stop me?” Pierce said, his tone dripping with absolute dominance.

He strolled into the room, walking right up to the desk, and casually took a seat.

“Silas, looking at you right now, only one phrase comes to mind.”

“What?” Silas asked defensively.

“The upstart.” Pierce pulled out a cigarette, lit it, took a deep drag, and slowly exhaled.

The thick smoke blurred his features, but it sent an inexplicable wave of anxiety straight into Silas's chest. What exactly was this maniac doing here?

“Pierce, I don't care why you're here. I call the shots at the Sterling Group now. Get the hell out!” He pointed aggressively at the door, his eyes turning vicious.
