Markus turned to Alpha Ben. “You allowed this to happen under your leadership. Your failure to see the truth has caused immeasurable damage to an innocent pack member.”

Ben looked down, shame etched on his face. “I… I didn’t know,” he stammered. “I thought… I thought I was protecting the pack. I had witnesses.”

Markus’s expression hardened. “Your failure to lead with integrity has led to this. The truth is out

now, and justice will be served.”

After that, he turned towards the Beta family, “And you! She was your daughter. Your own flesh and

blood. Shame on you!”

Beta Black was red in embarrassment, while his hands were shaking, while his wife was looking at

her precious daughter, Alena with shock. All their lives they favored Alena, she was their bright star, but now, they realized that they had created a monster. Looking at her, they noticed that she had no remorse on her face or guilt, she was just scared at the moment.

Alena’s parents, Beta Graham Black and his mate, stared at their daughter in utter disbelief. “How could you do this?” they demanded, their voices trembling with emotion. “She was your sister!”

Alena sneered; her defiance unyielding. “Come on, we all know she was a waste of space. Don’t forget that once you found out she was an omega, you didn’t treat her any better.”

Her words cut deep, and both Betas hung their heads in shame, realizing the painful truth in her

accusations.

“Enough!” Markus interrupted them in anger. He met Lora, and he could see how kind and compassionate she was. Looking at Alena, he couldn’t believe that they were related.

Alena, looking around and realizing the gravity of her situation, tried to speak, but Markus cut her

off. “Enough. Your words mean nothing now.”

Markus turned towards Alpha Ben and Alpha Alex. “It seems this case is sorted out,” he declared.

“Now it is your turn to make decisions based on the new findings.”

Luna Clara, with tears streaming down her face, stepped forward. She approached Alena and, with

a heartbroken expression, slapped her hard across the face. “How could you do this to your own sister?” she whispered; her voice filled with sorrow. “We punished an innocent girl because of your jealousy and insecurity.”

Alpha Ben shook his head in disbelief as he looked at his old friend, Beta Graham Black. Then,

turning to Markus, he said, “I am willing to accept any punishment ordered by you, Your Highness,

as I failed to make the right judgment.”

Markus nodded, satisfied with the answer, before turning his gaze to Alex. The current Alpha of the Black Forest Pack met Markus’s eyes with a mix of resignation and desperation. Earlier, when they discovered that Alena was Markus’s fated mate, Alex had looked at him with arrogance and hatred. Now, he seemed drained, as if the very life had been sucked out of him, and he became older with 10 years.

Taking a long breath, Alex turned towards Alena. His face was pale, and his voice wayered as he spoke. “Alena, your actions have brought shame upon this pack. You betrayed not only your sister but also the values we hold dear. Your jealousy and insecurity have led to suffering and injustice”

Alena tried to protest, but Alex silenced her with a stern look. “I should have seen the truth earlier I should have protected Elora instead of believing the lies. I failed as an Alpha and as a mate.”

Markus watched, his expression unreadable, as Alex continued. “As the Alpha of this pack, it is my duty to ensure justice. Alena, you are hereby stripped of your title as Luna. You will face the consequences of your actions, as will anyone who conspired with you.”

Alena looked at him in shock, while Danielle continued to cry.

“You can’t do this to me! I am a white wolf! I am your mate!” Alexa screamed in anger and

disbelief.

Alex regarded her with a long, sorrowful gaze before he spoke, his voice steady. “I, Alexander Blackwood, reject you, Alena Black, as my mate and Luna of this pack.”

Alena’s scream of agony echoed. “I can’t accept a second rejection! It will kill me!” she cried, her voice cracking with despair. “Please Alex, don’t do this. All that I did was for us, for the pack!”

But Alex remained unmoved, his expression resolute. “Accept the rejection or become a rogue.

The decision is yours.”

Trembling with fear and disbelief, tears streaming down her face, Alena had no choice. Her voice barely above a whisper, she said, “I Alena Black, accept your rejection.”

As the mate bond broke, Alena collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain, her screams piercing the

hearts of those around her. Alex, too, fell to his knees, his face contorted with anguish. The

severing of their bond was a painful, excruciating process for both of them.

After what seemed like an eternity, Alena’s body went limp, unconscious. The pack’s doctors rushed forward, lifting her and carrying her to the clinic. Alex remained on the ground, his breath

coming in ragged gasps as he fought to regain his composure.

The pack stood in stunned silence, the weight of the revelations and the raw display of agony

leaving them reeling. Markus, however, was not done. His presence commanded attention as he’

addressed the crowd once more.

“This was only the first case,” he announced, his voice carrying authority and determination. “More than a dozen cases remain to be investigated. This is just the beginning.”
