Meeting the Rogue-1

Meeting the Rogue-1

Tim never anticipated what he would find when he set out to visit his aunt and meet the rogue she was harboring. As he approached the cottage, he couldn’t shake the image of a cunning and vicious individual from his mind. Yet, when he laid eyes on the girl, all his expectations were

shattered.

There she stood, a petite figure trembling with fear, her big green eyes holding a look of innocence and vulnerability that he had never encountered before. It was a stark contrast to the image he had painted in his mind, and he couldn’t help but feel a twinge of empathy for her plight.

Tim observed her closely, noting the rapid rise and fall of her chest as her heart raced with apprehension. While it wasn’t his intention to scare her, years of dealing with rogues had taught him to approach with caution. After all, it was better to be safe than sorry and the looks could be deceiving, so he addressed her a bit harshly.

Still, he had to admire her courage for not running away, as she held her ground in front of him.

“Timothy Kent, stop scaring the girl!” he heard a commanding voice, and when he turned his head

he saw his aunt Mary.

“Aunt Mary,” he smiled at her while he took a few steps towards her and hugged her tightly. “I really missed you, and I was not scaring her, just greeting each other, no?” he replied with a wicked smile.

The tiny girl just nodded her head as she lifted herself from the ground, as she removed her gardening gloves.

“Let’s go inside and have a cup of tea,” Aunt Mary said, while opening the entrance door.

As the rogue busied herself with preparing tea, Tim couldn’t help but observe her every move with keen interest. Her long blonde curls framed her delicate features, and the few freckles scattered across her nose added a touch of innocence to her appearance. Despite the tension that hung in the air, Tim found himself momentarily distracted by her petite yet shapely figure. Even with the modest clothes that she was wearing, she was a beauty.

Definitely he would have hit on her if she was not a rogue. His eyes lingered a moment too long on her plum ass as she turned away, and he was caught off guard by the sudden slap to the back of his head. Startled, he turned to find his aunt giving him a stern look, her expression conveying both amusement and reproach.

“Hey, what was that for?” Tim protested, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

Mary shook her head with a knowing smile. “Pull your mind out of the gutter, Tim. We’re here to

help her, not scare or ogle her. You might have authority in the pack, but here you are on my

ground.”

Tim flushed with embarrassment, “OK, Aunt Mary, but was the hit really necessary?”

“You are a big boy, you can handle it,” his aunt replied, amused.

Elora, unaware of the exchange between Tim and Mary, continued to focus on her task, pouring steaming water into each cup with practiced precision. After she finished, she brought the cups to

the table and took a seat cautiously.

“There is no need to be scared by him, Lora, he is more bark than bite.” Aunt Mary said, while

smiling in the girl’s direction.

She nodded and, getting courage, she looked directly into his eyes.

Tim realized that maybe he took all this intimidation game a bit too far, “Hi there, I am Tim. I

presume you are Elora.”

He noticed how she slightly flinched when she heard her name as she replied, “Nice to meet you.

You can call me Lora.”

As Tim and Elora exchanged introductions, Mary wasted no time in getting to the heart of the matter. “Tim, did you manage to bring her the documents?” she asked, her tone tinged with

urgency.

Tim nodded, reaching inside his coat to retrieve an envelope. He could sense Elora’s anticipation mounting as he handed it to her, and he watched intently as she took it with trembling hands.
