“A were doctor?” Elora said terrified, “No one will accept to treat me, Mary. I am a rogue.”

“No were doctor needs to know that you are a rogue. You don’t have a wolf anymore, so we can say that you got pregnant with a werewolf. I will ask Doctor Luigi from my pack if he can see you as a favor. No one will know about it, I swear.” Mary replied.

“OK, but Mary, I am really scared, and I don’t want to be a burden. But my heart is not letting me give up on this baby. I promise that I will work as much as I can to repay your kindness. I am just so

ashamed; I feel so powerless.”

“Don’t overthink it, sweet girl. We will get through this together.” Mary replied to her full of

encouragement.

Mary wasted no time after her conversation with Elora. She reached out to Doctor Luigi, a respected retired werewolf doctor from her pack, who agreed to see Elora for a consultation in the

human hospital, outside the pack’s grounds.

A few days later, after examining Elora, Doctor Luigi gave her recommendations and warned her about the high risks associated with carrying a werewolf and an alpha’s baby. Elora listened attentively; her heart heavy with concern for her unborn child.

Elora underwent a scan at the hospital, and it was confirmed that she was carrying a baby boy. Mary’s expression grew even more serious as she relayed the news to Elora.

“This complicates things even more,” Mary said once they were alone, her voice tinged with worry. “Your son could potentially be the pack’s future alpha, so if his father finds him, he has the right to take him from you. Plus, his personality will be like fire, as despite you being human now, you are coming from a Beta lineage, so the child will have strong genes.”

Elora’s heart clenched at the thought. She knew that raising an alpha’s son would come with its

own set of challenges and expectations, but she decided that she would cross that bridge when

the time would come.

As the days passed, Elora’s belly grew larger and larger, a constant reminder of the life growing

inside her. She found herself often talking to him or singing to him. Then, one fateful day, her water

broke, and she was rushed to the hospital for the delivery.

Due to her petite constitution and the fact that she was human, Elora endured a difficult labor. The doctors worked tirelessly to bring her baby into the world, and there were moments when they feared they might lose her. But through sheer determination and skilled medical intervention, they

managed to save both mother and child.

When Elora woke up from the haze of sedatives, she found herself cradling her newborn son iri hér

arms. Tears welled up in her eyes as she gazed down at his dark hair and caramel skin, marveling

at the miracle of his existence. At that moment, a bond formed between them, unbreakable and

pure.

Mary visited her in the hospital room, her face lit up with excitement and enthusiasm. “He’s so

beautiful, Lora,” she exclaimed, her voice filled with joy. “You’re a mother now, and I couldn’t be

happier that you are both OK and healthy. I will not lie, during the delivery you gave us a scare.”

Elora smiled through her exhaustion, feeling a surge of love and gratitude for the woman who had

stood by her side through it all. “Thank you, Mary,” she whispered, her heart overflowing with

emotion. “I couldn’t have done it without you.”

“So, you decided what you are going to call him?” Mary asked, wiping her tears.

Elora looked at the small bundle in her arms and replied, “Asher, which means second chance.”

“Very well, then… hello Asher, I am aunt Mary.”
