Raising Asher-2

“Mary, we have been through this many times. As soon as he appears on a pack’s radar, and he will
be in the system, he can be found by his father. I could lose him, and I don’t want that. Consider me
selfish, but he is my everything!” Elora replied in a sad voice.
“And what if his father is not a bad man, and he is a reasonable one?” Mary pushed.
“And what if he is not? I can’t risk losing him based on a supposition, Mary.”
As the days passed, Elora found herself immersed in the fast-paced world of the hospital while raising her challenging son. The rhythm of the emergency department became her heartbeat, and/ she thrived in its chaotic energy. She celebrated her birthday amidst the bustle of the hospital, surrounded by colleagues who had become like family over the past years.
Despite tempting offers from other hospitals, Elora made the decision to stay in Maine. It wasn’t just about the job anymore; it was about stability for her and Asher. Mary’s presence was a comforting constant in their lives, and Elora couldn’t imagine uprooting them from the familiar surroundings they had grown accustomed to.
In the A&E department, Elora found her passion ignited. There was something about the urgency of the ER that kept her alive and enthusiastic. Every day brought new challenges, and she tackled them with determination and skill. Unit chiefs tried to have her on their teams, recognizing her
talent and dedication, and her growing reputation.
But amidst the whirlwind of her professional life, Elora never lost sight of what truly mattered to her: Asher’s well-being and their little family’s happiness.
After cutting the cake for her birthday at work, Elora’s colleagues surprised her with plans for the evening. Despite her initial reluctance, they insisted she join them for a night out in the most exclusivist nightclub called Fantasy. Mary chimed in, urging her to embrace the opportunity for some fun and reminding her that Asher was more than five years old and in good hands.
“Live a little, sweet girl,” Mary encouraged, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “You deserve a life. A
a boyfriend, hell, even a one-night stand. You never got this chance, Lora. Not when you were a teenager, and definitely not after. Be wild for a night, just once. We only live once, Lora.”
man,
Elora hesitated, feeling torn between her responsibilities and the prospect of letting loose for a night. But with Mary and her colleagues rallying around her, she hesitantly agreed to join them.
As the evening approached, they didn’t even give her a chance to go home and change, afraid that she would change her mind. Instead, they presented her with a dress they had bought for her. Elora’s eyes widened in disbelief as she took in the short, burgundy flimsy garment.

“No way in hell am I wearing that,” she protested, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. The dress was a beautiful bandage dress, but her problem was that she had never worn anything that revealing in her life. Especially as after her pregnancy she remained with a slight curvy body,
despite her exercising routine. This dress showed every hidden curve.
But her protests fell on deaf ears as her colleagues insisted, and in the end, Elora found herself reluctantly accepting their “gifts.”
After she got dressed and, with her blonde curly hair pinned up, her colleagues gave her a pair of
nude pumps and helped her with her make-up.
As Elora stepped into the hallway, she felt the weight of everyone’s gaze on her. Their expressions, ranged from awe to surprise as they took in her transformed appearance. She had shed her usual plain clothes for the night and now stood before them, stunning in the dress her colleagues had
chosen for her.
A fellow resident whistled appreciatively and remarked, “Who would’ve thought you were hiding all
that behind your plain clothes?”
Despite the compliments, Elora couldn’t shake the feeling of discomfort that settled in the pit of her stomach. She followed her colleagues out to the street where they hailed two cabs to take
them to the club.
Upon arrival, they were ushered inside thanks to one of her colleagues who knew the bouncer. The pulsating music, flashing lights, and throngs of dancing bodies overwhelmed Elora as she stepped
onto the crowded dance floor.
As they made their way to the bar, Elora couldn’t help but feel exposed and vulnerable under the intense scrutiny of the surrounding men. She regretted her decision to come, longing for the comfort and familiarity of her usual routine and feeling scared and lost. Definitely it was not her scene, but she decided to stay maybe half an hour and then to find her way out.
While sitting at the bar, she got approached by multiple men, but she dodged all their advances, helped by her colleagues. Someone from her group ordered shots for everyone, and she had to drink them. She felt the alcohol hit her body like a hammer, but it helped her relax. After some time, she started to relax while she chatted and laughed with her group, but from time to time she
looked around.
Maybe she was crazy, but she felt someone watching her constantly. She tried to look around, but she could not ignore this feeling that someone was observing her every move. Elora had felt it since she entered the club, but with each passing moment she felt it becoming more intense. Her skin formed goosebumps from the feeling, but before she could think more about it, two of her
nurses pulled her towards the dance floor.

Raising Asher-2
“Lora, let’s dance, birthday girl!” and despite her resistance she found herself between the swinging bodies.

As the music pulsed through the club, Elora tentatively began to sway to the rhythm. At first, her movements were hesitant, but as the beat wrapped around her, she gradually loosened up. Lost in the music, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to be carried away by the pulsating energy of
the dance floor.
Suddenly, she felt two big hands on her waist, causing her body to jolt as if shocked. Her initial instinct was to turn around, but the mischievous grins of her colleagues reassured her that this was no unwelcome intrusion. Still, Elora was not accustomed to being touched without her consent, and she tried to shift away and push him away. However, the hands on her waist held her firmly in place, and a voice whispered in her ear, “Don’t move, unless you want us to leave this place
at this moment.”
The strong voice sent a shiver down her spine, and Elora’s heart raced with a mixture of
uncertainty and intrigue. She remained still, unsure of what to do next, as the music continued to pulse around her, and the mysterious figure behind her held her captive in the rhythm of the night.
