The morning sun streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow over the breakfast table.
Elora and Azriel sat together, enjoying a quiet meal with Asher. As they ate, Elora looked up from her plate, determination gleaming in her eyes.
“Azriel,” she began, “I want to learn how to be a proper Luna. But I also have a request.”
Azriel raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Go on, my dove.”
“I’d like to work part-time at the pack hospital,” she said. “I want to learn from Doctor Luigi. All my
training has been in human anatomy, but I need to study the werewolf side as well. I want to be
able to help our pack in every way I can. Plus, I feel this as my calling, especially with the gifts from
the Moon Goddess.”
Azriel’s face broke into a proud smile. “Lora, you never cease to amaze me. Of course, you can do
that. You’re the Luna, and you have every right to pursue what you believe in. I’m proud of you.”
She smiled back at him, her heart swelling with love and determination. “Thank you, Azriel. That
means a lot to me.”
Azriel nodded, taking her hand in his. “Also, the arrangements for the Luna ceremony are in full swing. I’d like for it to happen in the next two weeks. How does that sound?”
Elora’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “That sounds perfect. I’m looking forward to it.”
After breakfast, they took Asher to the pack school. Asher waved enthusiastically before running
off to join his new friends. Watching him, Elora felt a surge of pride and happiness.
Once Asher was settled, Azriel turned to Elora. “I’ll be in my office handling pack issues today. Let’s
head over to the pack hospital. I want you to meet Doctor Luigi and the staff.”
They walked hand in hand to the pack hospital, a sturdy building nestled in the heart of the pack’s
territory. As they entered, the scent of antiseptic and the quiet hum of medical equipment filled the
air.
Doctor Luigi approached them with a warm smile. “Alpha Azriel, Luna Lora. It’s a pleasure to meet you here.”
Elora smiled back, feeling a bit nervous but determined. “The pleasure is mine, Doctor Luigi. I’m eager to learn from you. Azriel has already told you that I would like to study under you and help
wherever I can.”
Doctor Luigi nodded approvingly. “I’ve heard about your background, Luna. Your skills will be a great asset here. I look forward to working with you.”

Azriel squeezed Elora’s hand reassuringly. “Elora will be working part-time here. I trust you’ll show
her the ropes, Doctor.”
“Of course, Alpha,” Luigi replied. “We’ll make sure she’s well acquainted with the differences
between human and werewolf medicine.”
They toured the hospital, meeting nurses and other staff members. Everyone greeted Elora
warmly, making her feel welcome and appreciated. As they finished the tour, Azriel turned to Elora.
“I have to head back to the office now. You’ll be fine here?”
Elora nodded confidently. “Yes, I will. Thank you for bringing me here.”
He leaned in and kissed her softly. “I’ll see you later, love.”
As Azriel left, Elora took a deep breath, feeling a sense of purpose and excitement. She was ready
to embrace her new roles-as Luna and as a healer for her pack.
Doctor Luigi guided her to a small office. “Let’s get started, shall we? There’s a lot to learn.”
Elora smiled, feeling a renewed sense of determination. “I’m ready.”
The next few hours were a whirlwind for Elora as she got accustomed to her new environment.
The pack hospital was a busy place, filled with the sounds of chatter, beeping machines, and the occasional cry of a child. Doctor Luigi introduced her to the staff and showed her around the
various departments.
Elora’s initial nervousness faded as she started to immerse herself in the daily routine. She met
several pregnant she-wolves, ensuring their check-ups were on schedule, and a few children with
bruised knees who needed some comforting and minor treatment. She even assisted in
rearranging the bones of a warrior in training, her human medical expertise proving invaluable.
As the day wound down, Doctor Luigi approached her. “There’s one more case I want to show you before we finish for the day.”
