Helping Hand 1

Helping Hand-1

After a brief break, Elora stepped outside to call her son, Asher. The sound of his cheerful voice at the other end of the line brought a smile to her face and calmed her nerves. “Hi, sweetheart.

Mommy and Daddy will be home soon. Are you okay with Mary?”

“Yes, Mommy! I’m having fun. When will you be back?” Asher’s voice was filled with innocent

curiosity.

“Soon, darling. We just have a bit more work to do. Be good for Mary, okay?”

“I will, Mommy. I love you!”

“I love you too, Asher. Mommy and daddy love you!” Elora ended the call, feeling a renewed sense of determination. She turned to Azriel, who was waiting nearby, his face etched with concern and

support.

“I know it is hard to be away from him, but we had no choice. We will be back soon. Ready? Are you sure you want to do this? Do you need more rest?” he asked, taking her hand.

Elora nodded. “Let’s do this.”

Together, they walked towards the young warrior’s room. The atmosphere was tense; the air seemed thick with anticipation and dread. The warrior lay on the bed, tied for safety reasons, his body twitching and writhing in pain. His blackened veins pulsed ominously, a stark reminder of the dark magic consuming him.

Chief Doctor Anto and Witch Aura stood by, their faces grave but hopeful. The room was filled with

a silent audience of healers and guards, all waiting to see if the miraculous healing Elora had

demonstrated could be repeated on this more severe case.

Azriel and Elora approached the bed, their hands clasped tightly. Elora took a deep breath,

focusing her mind on the task ahead. She placed her hand on the warrior’s chest, feeling the

unnatural heat radiating from his corrupted veins. Azriel stood beside her as he squeezed her

hand, his presence a wellspring of strength and reassurance.

Elora closed her eyes, summoning her healing power. The familiar warm, golden light began to

emanate from her hand, spreading across the warrior’s chest. The warrior screamed in agony, his body arching against the restraints. Elora focused harder, pouring all her energy and intent into the healing process.

The black veins resisted, the dark magic fighting back with a malevolent force. But with Azriel’s support, the golden light grew brighter, more intense. Slowly, agonizingly, the black veins began to recede, the dark magic retreating in the face of the healing power.

Minutes felt like hours, but finally, the black veins disappeared entirely, leaving the warrior’s body free of the dark taint. He lay exhausted but visibly relieved, his breathing steadying as he slipped

into a deep, restful sleep.

Chief Doctor Anto and Witch Aura were in awe, their faces reflecting the astonishment and relief felt by everyone present. The room buzzed with hushed whispers of amazement.

Elora swayed slightly, feeling lightheaded. Azriel was immediately at her side, steadying her. “Are you okay?” he asked, his voice laced with concern.

“A bit lightheaded, but I’m okay,” Elora replied, smiling weakly. The fatigue was nothing compared to the sense of fulfillment she felt. She had done it; they had done it together.

Everyone in the room erupted in cheers and expressions of joy. The successful healing was not just a triumph over the dark magic, but a beacon of hope for the entire werewolf kind.

Chief Doctor Anto approached Elora, his eyes wide with admiration. “That was incredible. You’ve

given us all hope.”

Witch Aura nodded in agreement. “Your gift is truly remarkable. We are blessed to have you with us. I can’t believe that there is someone with the Goddess Gift alive and able to use these powers.”

Elora looked around at the smiling faces, feeling a profound sense of belonging and purpose. She glanced at Azriel, who was looking at her with pride and love.

“Thank you,” Elora said, her voice filled with emotion. “We did this together. All of us.”

As they left the room, the sense of triumph and unity lingered, until they saw Markus’s grim face.
