Luna Ceremony-2
Azriel took her hands in his, calming her with his steady gaze. “Everything will be perfect,” he
assured her. “You are going to be the most beautiful and graceful Luna this pack has ever seen.
Just breathe, my love.”
Lora took a deep breath, her nerves settling slightly. “I just want everything to go well,” she said softly.
“It will,” Azriel promised, kissing her forehead. “We’ve prepared for this, and the pack is excited.
Plus, we have Asher cheering us on.”
Lora smiled, looking over at their son, who was playing nearby, his face lit up with excitement for the day’s events. “You’re right. Thank you, Azriel. Do you know if Kaia will be in attendance?”
Azriel let a long breath before replying, “I don’t know, love. Hopefully, she can be there for us.”
“What about the other guests?” Lora asked.
“I told you before, in attendance will be only the pack members and, from the outside, only Markus was invited. He arrived this morning, so there is nothing to be worried about.”
As the clock inched closer to the ceremony time, the anticipation grew. Everyone gathered in the main hall, their faces glowing with happiness and pride.
Finally, the time came. Azriel stood beside Lora, holding her hand as they prepared to step out in front of their pack. He glanced over at the entrance, a flicker of hope in his heart, wondering if Kaia
would come.
As they made their way out, the crowd erupted in cheers, their love and support washing over the couple like a wave. Lora took a deep breath, her nervousness melting away as she felt the warmth
of her pack’s acceptance.
In the joy of the celebration, Azriel’s eyes caught a movement near the edge of the crowd. His heart leaped when he saw Kaia, standing quietly in the shadows, her face partially hidden by a
hood. She was there. She had come.
Azriel squeezed Lora’s hand, and she followed his gaze, her eyes widening in surprise and then
softening with understanding.
The Luna ceremony was a grand affair, steeped in tradition and honor.
At the heart of the gathering stood Markus, the Werewolf King himself, radiating authority and grace. Dressed in regal attire, his presence commanded respect and admiration. He raised his hands, signaling the beginning of the ceremony, and the crowd fell silent, their eyes fixed on the

“Ladies and gentlemen of the Stormheart Pack,” Markus began, his voice resonating through the hall, “today we gather to honor and welcome your new Luna, Lora Walsh, into her rightful place beside your Alpha, Azriel Storm.”
Azriel and Lora stepped forward, their hands intertwined, as Markus continued, “The role of Luna is not just a title, but a sacred duty. It requires strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the well-being of the pack. Lora has shown these qualities, and I have no doubt she will be an exceptional Luna.”
Markus turned to Lora, his eyes warm and kind. “Lora, do you pledge to uphold the responsibilities of the Luna, to protect and nurture this pack, to stand by your Alpha, and to lead with wisdom, and grace?”
Lora’s voice was steady, though filled with emotion. “I do.”
Markus nodded, satisfied. He then turned to Azriel. “And Azriel, do you pledge to support your Luna, to honor and respect her, and to lead this pack with strength and integrity?”
“I do,” Azriel replied, his voice strong and unwavering.
With a solemn expression, Markus placed a ceremonial crown of woven flowers and silver on
Lora’s head. “Then, by the power vested in me as your King, I pronounce you, Lora Walsh, as the
Luna of the Stormheart Pack.”
With a ceremonial knife, he made a cut on both their hands before uniting their hands where their
blood mixed. Lora felt a strong wave of electricity passing through her body, and for a second she
felt like fainting from the intensity, but Azriel’s strength kept her grounded in place.
The hall erupted in cheers, the sound reverberating off the walls. Lora and Azriel embraced and
kissed romantically, their hearts full of love and pride. As they turned to face their pack, the applause grew louder, a testament to the unity and joy shared by everyone present.
The formal ceremony gave way to festivities. Tables full of food and drink became available, and
music filled the air, prompting many to dance and celebrate. The mood was infectious, with laughter and merriment spreading through the crowd.
Markus, needing a moment of respite, stepped outside to take a call. As he ended the conversation and made his way back to the celebration, he noticed a figure cloaked in shadows near the edge of the garden. Intrigued, he took a deep breath, inhaling the familiar scent that reached him.
“Kaia?” he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.

“Kaia,” Markus repeated, softer this time, “you don’t have to leave. I’m happy to see you here.”
Kaia looked up, her eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and determination. “I… I want to leave.”
“Nonsense,” Markus said, stepping closer. “You being here has made Azriel the happiest I’ve seen him in years. You attending the ceremony means more than you know.”
Kaia’s eyes shimmered with unshed tears. “I…”
Markus wanted to place a gentle hand on her shoulder for comfort, but she jumped in shock and started to run away. “Wait, Kaia!” he shouted after her, before releasing a long breath and following
her.
