Alpha Nicholas

It was just after 11 when Declan announced to everyone sitting waiting on this moment, “Anthony has just arrived. I’ve told the guard to let him in.”
Nick stood along with Jeremy, they were going to be the ones to greet him and walk him through the packhouse. Give him a nice shock to go along with seeing his Hummer out there. He looked at Misha and nodded to her. “Go with Declan.” He stated and walked off. He’d not known if this moment would ever
come for Misha.
She was so stubborn at times, and she’d never want to harm that pack. That’s why he’d not gone ahead and tried to over all the pack’s business deals. Although the Elders had asked him if he wanted to send Mary up there to reign over it and become a second pack to the Rising Blue Lotus, he’d thought about it, but it wasn’t his decision in the end.
Mary had told him she didn’t want to rule over a pack, she liked running her tattoo parlor and just being a pack member. So his answer had been no. He also didn’t think it was close enough to do something like that, because it meant weekly trips to and from, sometimes more than that, and he nor his unit had really been willing to be away from their Mates like that all the time.
He’d advised the Elders to approach the Wolfen Council and have them find an Alpha and Gamma that they approved of, told them if they arranged that. He’d put the full severing of the two packs on hold, until a new Alpha had been instated, that he would sit down and discuss with the new Alpha a new alliance for business and war assistance between the two packs once more.”
That was how it had gone as well. He’d been in communication with Harvey and May since the day Misha left that pack for good. He knew everything that was going on up there, as did, from what he understood, about half of the Night Whispers allied packs. Those that had been chosen to report back to the Wolfen Council what Anthony told them by Alpha Dennis himself.
On specially asked questions, all just to see if Anthony was honest in telling his allies about the pack falling apart and that one Luna had walked away while he’d rescinded the other’s title. He’d now, from Harvey’s point of view, heard Anthony had abandoned Christy, she’d had no rights inside that pack; for
weeks now.
Yet she was still his Mate. May believed Anthony had a problem with letting things go. The latest update he had was Christy was in the cells; a prisoner, deemed a traitor by Anthony himself, yet he was still bound to the she–wolf. Anthony had yet to reject her, it appeared he was keeping her there until she gave birth, and then would reject her.
May didn’t think that was going to happen, because even pregnant she–wolves survived rejections, they survived the death of their Mates as well. She thought Anthony wasn’t going to reject her and that came from the fact that Christy might be in the cells, but she had been given a proper bed and warm bedding, still wore normal clothes and wasn’t actually treated like a prisoner.
May was of the opinion Anthony was going to keep Christy around, if Misha actually rejected him. So, he was giving her some comforts in order to have some sort of explanation as to why he’d done what he did. that being locking her up.
She believed he was likely to tell Christy that he was sorry, and he had to be seen doing that to her. That

the pack demanded it of him, but he’d not wanted to, and that’s why she’d gotten those comforts; he wanted her to have those things.
It appeared to the pack he’d drawn a clear line with her, but she didn’t think he actually had. He was keeping Christy around as a back–up plan. It was disgraceful is what it was, and they were waiting to see if their own thoughts would now come to light, seeing as he was off to be rejected officially. He’d gotten a text that Anthony had left the Night Whispers pack.
Nick was their eyes right now, and would report back to Harvey what had happened inside this pack between Anthony and not only Misha but Declan as well. The only thing they weren’t in the loop on was that Declan and Misha were actually Goddess–Gifted to each other. That was something he wanted to see if Anthony would relay himself.
His eyes moved to the car coming up the road, he recognized it and smiled just a little. “Here we go.”
He saw Anthony pull up right next to his own car and get out looking at his hummer. It was unmistakable to anyone that knew him, he had personalized number plates to the pack. Already the man was frowning unhappily at seeing it. He’d told Anthony he didn’t know where Misha went, but only an idiot would believe
that.
He was the Night Whispers‘ biggest defence ally, which meant he would help even with enemies from within. So he was, of course, the logical choice to get wolves out of that pack and set up their new lives as
well.
He and Jeremy finally stepped outside the packhouse and the movement caught Anthony’s attention. His eyes locked on Nicholas, “About time you showed up.” Nick stated, “Don’t you think?”
Anthony looked from him to Jeremy. He knew his Beta’s skills, not many could get past him, certainly not any allied they’d seen fight, and he offered training to all allies for this very reason.
“Why are you here?” Anthony asked right back.
“For Mish, of course.” He returned genuine warmth to his voice as he spoke of her. “I wouldn’t waste my time with you anymore. But Mish, is a whole other matter. I’m also allied to this very pack. I was here for the full moon. Interesting it was, wasn’t it Jeremy!”
“Yes, Declan announced to the entire pack he’s got an heir on the way.” Jeremy smiled. “Shocked us all, but isn’t Misha radiant looking.”
“Yes, I think motherhood will suit her well.” Nick smiled in agreement.
He saw anger cross Anthony’s face. “We’re here to escort you to the Alpha’s office, that is where this rejection will happen.”
“If she doesn’t voice it, I’m not going to.” Anthony grated out, and Nick wondered if he thought that was what was going to happen. He knew Misha had vowed never to reject him, but that was before she had two Goddess Gifted Mates, that were Alpha’s to two separate packs. That vow was now null and voided by their own Goddess herself.
“This way,” Nick stated, and he turned and walked, knowing Jeremy would fall into step behind Anthony. It was a full escort, not a stroll at will. Kevin and Braidy were inside and Anthony found himself surrounded by all four of them the moment they crossed the threshold of the packhouse.

“Overkill, Nicholas.” Anthony muttered, “Or does thiş Alpha not have the power to deal with me and that’s why you’re here. Does he need back up to keep Mischa here in this pack?”
Nick smiled, “So what if he does? Every Alpha needs allied packs for assistance.” He stopped walking and turned to look at him. “Where’s your unit? Or did they all abandon you too?” He hit him with words that he knew would hurt, because he knew Kendrick and Dereck were no longer part of his Alpha Unit.
He saw a hard look cross Anthony’s face and Nick laughed softly. “I heard you nearly told them to leave the pack, just like Christy did the Gammas. They walked away from you on the spot.” He shook his head. “I think you’ll find you’re the one that needs backup today. Yet where is it?”
Anger was all over this pitiful excuse for an Alpha now, as he came to understand just how much information he had on the goings–on inside that pack, even though they were no longer allied to each other
many mated into that pack, I still hear everything,” Nick informed him.
Th
ed and continued on. Anthony was in for a rude shock: He had no idea that Paul and Carol ere and part of the Alpha Unit too. They would both be in that office for him to see.
office door stood open and Nick walked in without knocking, as though it was his office. “Alpha ana Misha, I’ve escorted your guest as was requested of you.” He stated, addressing them as the d Luna of the pack, something that they were, but would annoy Anthony at the same time seeing asn’t in the loop yet.
ugh at the same time, he couldn’t correct Nick either, because she was a Luna ranked wolf, so it was correct way to address her, but it was the fact that he’d implied they were the reigning Alpha and Luna, th his wording. He’d on purpose dropped the ‘and‘ between them, which would in their world separated them as not being a couple and was just addressing their titles, dropping the ‘and‘ implied they were a mated pair. Which they were.
He stepped aside to let Anthony get his first look at what was really going on in this very room. Alpha Declan was seated at his desk and Holland, Paul and Mack were all lined up to the right of Declan, in ascension order. He was getting his first look at the leadership. At Declan the Alpha, he likely thought he could fight for the right to claim Misha. He was as big and imposing as Nick was himself.
Then to Declan’s left was Misha standing with Kitty, Carol and Serena lined up in the Lunas Unit ascension line. She stood there a slight smile on her face and she saw it change to amusement, as Anthony looked at them all and realized Nick had in fact addressed them the correct way.
He watched as Declan stood up from that seat and towered over everyone in this room bar Nick himself, ” Took you long enough to come for your Luna, A month.” Declan stated, “Unfortunately for you, you’ll be leaving here today without her.”
Declan turned his eyes on Misha and smiled down at her, “She’s my Luna now, seeing as you abandoned her.”
“She is my Mate and until a rejection happens keep your hands off her.” Anthony bit out.
