No.
“Yes.
“No.”
“Yes.”
She covered her face with her hands.
“…I hate everyone.”
Damon laughed. Actually laughed. “You didn’t hate me last night.”
She peeked through her fingers. “What does that mean?”
“You were clinging to me.”
Her eyes widened. “I was what?”
“You refused to let go,” he added casually. “Said I was your ‘favorite wall.”
Silence.
“…I’m going to throw myself out the window.”
“You also refused to sleep anywhere else.”
Her head snapped toward him.
“I absolutely did not-”
“You did.”
A pause.
“And you said if I left you alone, you’d ‘declare war.”
Willow stared at him.
“…. take it back. I don’t hate everyone.” A beat. “I hate myself.”
Damon smirked again. “I carried you here.”
That made her pause. “… You did?”
His expression softened-just slightly.
Chairy
“You were barely able to walk.” A pause. “So yes. And as I promised you,” Damon continued, his voice lower now-calmer, but still carrying that stubborn confidence that always seemed to get under her skin, “I would not enter your suite unless you invited me.”
He leaned slightly against her, watching her with a look that was far too patient for someone like him.
“I kept that promise.” A small pause. “But last night…” he added, a faint smirk tugging at his lips, “you didn’t exactly leave me with many options.” His gaze softened-just a fraction. “You could barely stand, Willow.

You were half-asleep, arguing with everyone, and threatening to start a war if anyone tried to take you
way from me.” A quiet breath. “So I brought you to my room.” His eyes held hers now, steady and unyielding. “And in case you’re wondering,” he added, tone shifting slightly, more serious this time, “I didn’t ake advantage of you. Another pause. “I stayed. Made sure you were okay.” Then, just like that, the easing edge returned.
‘And now…” he said lightly, “we’re back to where we started.” His head tilted just slightly. “I’m still waiting for that invitation to enter your suite, my mate.”
Willow stared at him. Unimpressed. Unmoved.
Then you’re going to be waiting for a very long time,” Willow answered flatly. She crossed her arms, lifting her chin just enough to make her point clear. “As in… a very, very long time.” A beat. “Possibly forever.”
Damon huffed a quiet laugh, not offended-if anything, more amused. “I can be patient.”
Willow raised a brow. “You’ll need to be.”
Silence settled between them. Uncomfortable. Real.
Willow looked away first. “… Thank you.”
It was quiet. Reluctant. Damon didn’t comment. Didn’t tease.
“Get dressed.”
Her head snapped back.
“What?”
“Breakfast.”
“I am not having breakfast with you.”
“You are.”
“I’m not.”
“You are.”
She crossed her arms.
“I refuse.”
Damon leaned forward. Slowly. Deliberately. Before she could react- He cupped her face- And kissed her. Not soft. Not gentle.
Overwhelming. Her breath caught. Her thoughts scattered. And for a moment – Everything stopped. When he pulled back- Her eyes were wide. Speechless.
“There.” He smirked. “You’re coming to breakfast.”
Willow blinked. Still stunned.
“… That was manipulation.”

Yes.”
“…That was unfair.”
“Yes.”
“… That worked.”
“Yes.”
She groaned.
“I hate you.”
“No, you don’t.”
“…I strongly dislike you.”
“I’ll take it.”

The dining hall was already alive when they arrived. Voices. Movement. Energy. And the moment Willow stepped in- Everything shifted. Heads turned. Then- The pups noticed her. And that was it.
“LUNA WILLOW!”
They ran. Small bodies crashing into her legs, arms wrapping around her. She laughed despite herself.
“Good morning to you too.”
Damon watched, Quietly. A faint smile tugging at his lips.
“I’ll get your food,” he said. She didn’t even respond. Too busy being dragged into conversations about- toys. training. who ran fastest. Normal. For a moment- It felt normal. Then- Everything shattered.
“Willow.”
The voice slammed into her mind. Talon. Urgent. Sharp. Her body stiffened instantly.
“Willow-”
“Talon?”
“We’re near your border.”
Her heart dropped.
