Chapter One Hundred Thirty Two
“How about this one?”

Diana held up an elegant silver dress against herself, turning slightly toward Willow so she could see the full design.
The gown shimmered softly beneath the boutique lights, the fabric flowing like liquid moonlight. Tiny crystals lined the neckline and sleeves, subtle enough not to overpower the dress but enough to catch the light every time Diana moved.
Willow’s eyes widened instantly.
“Oh my Goddess, yes!” she said dramatically, immediately standing from the velvet chair she had been sitting on. “You will look amazing in that dress. Try it on right now!
Diana laughed softly at Willow’s enthusiasm.
“You are acting like you are the one attending the ceremony.”
“I am attending the ceremony,” Willow replied without missing a beat. “And I refuse to stand beside you while you wear something ugly. I would look bad by association.”
Diana rolled her eyes fondly before walking toward the fitting room, the dress draped carefully over her
arm.
Willow followed right behind her. The boutique was quiet this early in the morning. Only a few other customers wandered around the racks while attendants moved carefully between displays. The soft scent of perfume and fresh fabric lingered in the air.
Once Diana disappeared behind the fitting room curtain, Willow sat down in the chair outside, crossing her legs while absently smoothing the red dress resting across her lap.
It was the third dress she had tried. And secretly- the one she liked the most.
“Have you and Damon talked about you coming with us to Stone Claw?” Diana asked from inside the fitting room.
Willow sighed immediately. “Yes,” she answered.
“And?”
The sound of rustling fabric came from inside the fitting room.
“And I’m coming.”
Diana hummed softly.
“That doesn’t answer my question.”
Willow leaned back against the chair dramatically.
“It should.”

“doesn’t,” Diana replied immediately
Willow stared at the ceiling for a second before groaning softly.
“Fine,” she muttered. “Damon-wasn’t happy about it.”
Diana paused behind the curtain
“I figured.”
“He doesn’t want me anywhere near Stone Claw, Willow continued. “Especially if Rafe is really there.”
“And?”
“And I told him I was going whether he liked it or not.”
That made Diana laugh quietly inside the fitting room.
Willow pointed accusingly at the curtain.
“Do not laugh at me.”
“I’m trying not to,” Diana answered between amusement.
“Well, you can stop trying.”
Diana laughed harder. Willow shook her head.
“I told Damon he had two choices,” she continued. “Either he lets me go with all of you…”
A pause.
“Or he locks me inside the Rogue Kingdom for the entire time.”
Diana pulled the curtain aside slightly, one eyebrow raised.
“And how did he react to that?”
Willow snorted softly.
“How do you think?”
Diana smiled knowingly.
“He realized he was arguing with a Ravenwood.”
“Excuse me?”
“You heard me.”
Diana disappeared behind the curtain again.
“You and Talon are equally stubborn. The difference is Talon uses Alpha King authority to get what he wants.”
“And I don’t?”

Willow gasped in mock offense.
“I do not!”
“You absolutely do.”
Willow crossed her arms dramatically.
“I am deeply insulted.”
“And yet I’m still correct.”
Willow narrowed her eyes toward the curtain.
“You fit in this family too well.”
“Thank you.”
“That was not a compliment.”
“Yes it was.”
Willow couldn’t stop herself from smiling.
Moments later, the curtain finally opened fully.
And Willow’s jaw dropped.
“Diana…”
Diana stepped out slowly, smoothing the silver fabric over her hips.
Charm
The gown fit her perfectly. The elegant silver material contrasted beautifully against her pale skin and silver hair. The neckline exposed just enough without being excessive, while the fitted waist and flowing skirt made her look graceful and powerful at the same time. Like a queen. Like something ethereal. Willow stood immediately.
“Oh, my Goddess,” she breathed. “Diana, you look gorgeous.”
Diana glanced at herself in the mirror.
“You think so?”
“No,” Willow corrected dramatically.
“You look like a literal goddess.”
That made Diana blush instantly. A genuine blush. The kind that spread softly across her cheeks. Willow stared at her in shock.
“Huh.”
Diana frowned slightly.

“What?”
“There really is something that can make you flustered.”
Diana narrowed her eyes stightly.
“Willow.”

“I’m serious,” Willow continued, grinning now. “You fight rogues without blinking. You threaten Alpha Kings. You terrify people accidentally. But one compliment and suddenly you become shy.”
“I am not shy.”
“You are blushing.”
“I am not.”
“You absolutely are.”
Diana pointed at her warningly.
“Keep talking and I’ll tell Damon you almost cried over the red dress earlier.”
Willow gasped.
“That is betrayal.”
Diana smiled smugly.
“That is survival.”,
Willow laughed softly before looking at Diana again, And honestly- she meant every word. Diana looked beautiful. Not just physically. But in the way she carried herself. Confident. Strong. Warm. There was something naturally regal about her. Something that made people instinctively trust her. Respect her. Love her. Willow understood now why Black Howler Pack adored their Luna Queen so much.
“You should get this one,” Willow said finally.
Diana nodded slowly.
“I think so too.”
A pause.
“I know Talon and Fenrir will lose their minds the moment they see you in it.”
That earned another blush from Diana.
“Stop saying things like that.”
Willow grinned wickedly.
“Oh, there she is again.”
Diana sighed dramatically before sitting back down. Then her expression softened slightly.

“Anyway…”
Willow instantly recognized that tone. The serious Luna tone. Uh oh.
“Have you talked to Damon about your mating?” Diana asked carefully.
Willow looked away immediately
“There’s nothing to talk about.”
“Willow.”
“I mean it.”
Diana crossed her arms.
“You already decided you’re staying here.”
Silence.
“You accepted being Luna of the Rogue Kingdom.”
More silence.
“And you accepted Damon’s claim.”
Willow sighed softly.
“At first, yes, he didn’t give you much choice,” Diana continued carefully. “But eventually he did.”
Willow remained quiet.
“So what exactly is stopping you from marking him?”
That question hit harder than Willow expected. Because honestly- she didn’t fully know anymore.
“I’m not ready,” she said quietly.
“Why?”
Willow looked down at the red dress in her lap. Because the truth was embarrassing. Painful. And
irrational. But still there.
“I want to know,” she admitted softly, “that what he wants… is really me.”
Diana frowned slightly.
“What do you mean?”
Willow swallowed hard.
“It’s obvious Damon wants you.”
The words finally came out. Quiet. Small. But honest.
Diana blinked. Then sighed softly in understanding.

Willow…”
“He wanted you first,” Willow whispered. “And now he wants me because you didn’t want him.”
Diana immediately moved closer.
“Look at me.”
Willow hesitated before finally lifting her eyes.
“Damon does not want me.”
Willow looked unconvinced.
