Chapter 341 Oblivion Rain
Chapter 341 Oblivion Rain
“Do I really look like a ruthless killer?” Ralph scratched his chin, genuinely confused.
Have I really seemed that vicious? Why does everyone assume I will kill them?

The men kneeling on the floor held their tongues. Three Supreme Leaders had already served in office, yet not a single leak about their true identities had appeared on StarNet.
The meaning was plain enough.
Only the dead kept secrets perfectly.
They had uncovered the Supreme Leader’s real identity, and to protect classified information, they would be eliminated today. They only wondered what form their death would take.
The meeting room hung heavy with dread. Then Ralph spotted Gillian walking toward the door.
He said, “Captain Sterling, do you think I will execute all these people?”
Will my word stop him?
Gillian said, “Of course not. The Supreme Leader cares for his people like his own children. You would never harm your own sons.”
She laid the praise on thick.
Ralph waved a hand. “All of you, you may leave.”
He had no intention of killing them.
The soldiers lifted their heads in shock. Trembling with nervousness under the overwhelming aura of the Supreme Leader, they scrambled quickly out of the hall.
As they stepped outside, they never noticed a squad of tall, black-clad beastmen hovering on flying vehicles directly overhead.
Hidden deep within the night, the men stood with their hands behind their backs, clutching strange blue mushrooms.
The mushrooms were large, crystal-clear, and let out a whistling wind sound whenever squeezed.

They released the mushrooms in a steady rhythm, as if a random rainstorm had suddenly blown in.
The practiced ease with which they worked made it clear this was not their first time carrying out such an operation.
A gust of wind rose, and fine rain began to fall, soaking every soldier to the skin.
“Where did this rain come from?”
“The forecast said clear skies today!”
Too flustered to think carefully, they ran hurriedly to find shelter from the unexpected downpour.
Gillian stood safely beneath the eaves, only 10 feet away from the falling rain.
When each drop hit the ground, it split neatly into six fragments, releasing a cool woody scent imbued with strange power.
Gillian stepped forward. The sharp woody fragrance drifted into her nostrils, and her eyes widened sharply. There was something wrong with this rain.
She stretched out a hand to catch a drop for testing when a figure appeared beside her in an
instant.
It was Ralph.
Gillian stepped respectfully aside and saluted. “Supreme Leader.”
Ralph said nothing, only watching the rainfall slowly stop.
His low voice cut through the quiet. “This is Oblivion Rain. I would advise you not to touch it.”
His tone was grave, carrying a heavy sense of pressure.
Gillian pulled her hand back as if burned, her heart tightening.
“Oblivion Rain…” she murmured.
Has he still chosen to act?
“Will they die, Supreme Leader?” she asked.
“Gillian, you also seem convinced I am a bloodthirsty killer.” A faint, unfathomable smile

Gillian breathed a quiet sigh of relief. If he truly intended to kill them, he would have struck directly instead of summoning this strange rain.
