"You wouldn't dare!!" Warren's pupils shrank, his entire body trembling with rage. "I am the head of the Prescott family! Even if the deed is in your name, you have no right to kick me out!"

If he were thrown out, how could he ever show his face in public again?!

"Lawrence." Phoenix narrowed her eyes, her tone freezing over. "I don't want to repeat myself."

"Yes, Ms. Prescott!" This time, Lawrence didn't hesitate. He signaled the bodyguards with a look. "Show them out!"

"I'd like to see who dares!"

An authoritative, icy shout suddenly boomed from outside the door.

Phoenix narrowed her eyes. Julian strode across the threshold, radiating a murderous aura.

"Hah, Julian. You already got thrown out once, yet you still have the nerve to come back looking for trouble?"

"Phoenix, your current actions violate the Prescott Family Code." Julian's face was dark as a storm as he adopted the posture of a strict patriarch. "The code clearly states that siblings are forbidden from turning against each other. You kicked Phoebe and me out of the house, completely disregarding the rules. How do you plead?"

"The code?"

Phoenix raised an eyebrow, letting out a laugh dripping with pure mockery. "Sorry, but you and I signed the Deed of Severance a long time ago. What rule am I breaking?"

Julian froze. He had completely forgotten about the legal document he had brushed off earlier.

"Phoenix, we're all family. There's no need to make things so ugly."

Just then, an old, authoritative voice echoed through the hall.

Alistair walked in slowly, leaning on his cane and supported by Phoebe. His gaze was piercing and sharp.

Phoenix understood immediately. A cold smirk pulled at the corner of her mouth.

So this was why Julian and Phoebe had disappeared earlier. They went to fetch the heavy artillery to suppress her.

"Grandfather," Ian greeted respectfully the moment he saw Alistair, immediately withdrawing his aggression.

"Grandfather Alistair!" Warren and Vanessa didn't dare show any disrespect either, hurriedly bowing their heads in a humble posture.

Alistair nodded slightly. His cloudy yet shrewd eyes swept past everyone and locked directly onto Phoenix.

"Phoenix, I know you've suffered a lot of grievances in the past," he said, his tone steady but carrying an unquestionable authority. "However, a harmonious family prospers. Do your grandfather a favor. Let this matter rest here."

But he didn't dare lash out. He could only grit his teeth and reply, "Yes, Grandfather Alistair."

"Alright, Phoenix. Come to the tea room and brew a pot for me."

Alistair didn't say another word. Leaning on his cane, he headed toward the tea room.

"Merry, come with me." Phoenix grabbed Meredith's arm and followed calmly.

Watching their figures disappear around the corner, Warren's family finally dropped their facades, quickly gathering together.

"Phoebe, you've really suffered." Vanessa tightly held Phoebe's hands, her eyes filled with heartbreak. "That ungrateful brat actually dared to throw you and your brother out! This is simply bullying!"

"Mom, I'm fine." Phoebe shook her head gently. Her eyes were slightly red, making her look perfectly well-behaved and understanding. "It's only right for my sister to hate me. I don't blame her. After all, she became like this because I stole fifteen years of her life as an heiress, and I even made her go to prison for four years in my place..."

She paused, shifting her gaze to Julian, overflowing with guilt. "I just feel terrible for Julian. He's the Executive Vice President of the Prescott Group, the actual person in charge. If word gets out about this, people will gossip, and it'll ruin his authority."

"Phoebe, this isn't your fault. Phoenix is just an ungrateful wolf down to her bones. Even without you, she would still be completely lawless," Ian comforted her indignantly.

"Ian is right." Julian scoffed coldly, a flash of viciousness passing through his eyes. "But her good days won't last much longer."
