Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 196

"Is there a problem?"

Seeing Yolanda staring blankly at the keys, Phoenix raised an eyebrow.

"No problem at all!" Yolanda instantly snapped out of it, silently hyping herself up: *Yolanda, you are Ms. Prescott's executive assistant now. You can't act like a country bumpkin who's never seen the world. Do not embarrass her!*

Only someone as noble and fiercely commanding as Phoenix deserved to ride in a Lamborghini Veneno.

The moment Phoenix stepped out of the marketing department's double doors, she ran straight into Phoebe. Enemies always crossed paths on narrow roads.

Standing beside Phoebe was a slender man with a sickly pale complexion. He wore his hair long, dressed in a style that gave off a decadent, artistic vibe. However, his eyes carried a look of unbearable arrogance, as if everything and everyone around him was beneath his notice.

This was Sebastian, the third son of the Prescott Family.

"Ms. Prescott. What a coincidence," Phoebe broke the silence first, a perfectly measured smile curving her lips. "Are you also heading to the International Jewelry Expo at The Global Trade Center?"

Phoenix's lips twitched with cold amusement. "Weren't you exiled from Prescott Group? You actually have the nerve to strut around here? Aren't you worried Grandfather will be furious?"

Phoebe's expression stiffened. A flicker of panic crossed her eyes, but she quickly recovered, her voice sickeningly sweet. "You misunderstand. I'm currently acting as Sebastian's studio assistant, helping coordinate the partnership between Prescott Group and MK Global. As long as his designs stun the crowd at the expo, a deep-rooted partnership will be guaranteed."

"Oh, is that so." Phoenix's expression remained entirely blank, her tone deadpan. To Phoebe, this casual, dismissive attitude was far more infuriating than a direct insult.

Did she have any idea how monumental a partnership with MK Global was? It would single-handedly open an entirely new sector for the corporation! And as the mastermind behind it, Phoebe would make a glorious return and take control of that core division.

Compared to that, Phoenix was nothing but a low-level marketing manager. She wasn't even worth a second glance.

"Phoenix, I know your best friend Meredith is the CEO of Lumina Jewelry," Sebastian stepped forward, staring at her with predatory malice. "But at this expo, the only main character will be me."

"Mhm. Love the ambition." Phoenix gave a subtle nod. Her patronizing tone sounded exactly like she was humoring a toddler throwing a tantrum, instantly making Sebastian's grand declaration feel pathetic.

"I'm in a hurry. You two... go play somewhere else."
