Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 239

"Impossible!" Ian frowned, ripping off his sunglasses with an icy glare. "Penny booked the absolute best room. Open your eyes and check again. You definitely made a mistake!"

"Sir, there is no mistake." The manager shook his head, his tone firm. "The system clearly shows that you reserved the standard suite right next door."

Hearing the word "standard," Ian's face turned as dark as the bottom of a pot, as if he had just suffered a massive insult. "Let me tell you something. The person who booked this room is Penelope Sterling of the Sterling family! Do you know what that means?"

He took a menacing step toward the manager, lowering his voice into a threat. "If you don't want to pack your bags and get fired, you better get out of my way."

Without waiting for a response, Ian ignored the manager, turned to his crew, and shouted, "Everyone, follow me! It's my birthday, and we are partying in the best room!"

"Hell yes, Ian!"

The crowd cheered wildly. Swarming around him, they completely ignored the manager's protests and forcefully pushed open the doors to the Diamond VIP suite.

Rowena's heart pounded with anxiety. She hurried after Ian, whispering, "What if there really was a mistake? What if..."

"Rowena, what are you so nervous about? Even if it is a mistake, so what?" Ian curled his lip, his face plastered with arrogant disdain. "With Penelope backing us, who in Cloudhaven would dare disrespect the Sterling family? Nobody is going to cause trouble for us over a single room."

He let out a cold scoff. "A standard suite? Is that even fit for humans? Not even a dog would stay there."

Rowena frowned but eventually sighed. Ian was right. Leaning against a massive tree like the Sterling family definitely kept them in the shade.

Watching the group barge into the Diamond VIP suite like a pack of bandits, the manager broke into a cold sweat. He immediately grabbed his radio, preparing to call security and remove them by force. The rules of The Meridian Club could never be broken.

"Wait."

Just then, a slender, pale hand reached out and gently pushed his radio down.

Two women with stunning auras had appeared in the hallway out of nowhere.

"You are..."

"The people who actually booked the Diamond VIP suite."

"Ah?" The manager froze for a second before realizing what was happening. "May I ask your name?"

"Phoenix Prescott."

The manager quickly cross-checked his system. Once he confirmed her identity, an expression of sheer embarrassment washed over his face. "Honored Ms. Prescott, I am incredibly sorry. Your suite was... hijacked by a group of people. Please don't worry, I will call security and have them thrown out immediately."

"That won't be necessary." Phoenix's lips curled into a smirk, her eyes glinting with the predatory amusement of a cat playing with a mouse. "Let them borrow the room for now. However..."

She leaned in slightly, whispering a few specific instructions into the manager's ear.

As the manager listened, his eyes lit up. He immediately straightened his posture, his expression dead serious. "Understood, honored Ms. Prescott. We will execute your orders to the letter."

"Go on."
