“Claim now,” Wild voiced as she looked at Laud and then, to his shock and the packs, his

beast knelt before her to allow her to claim him.

Laud smiled at him and ran her fingers lightly over his mark spot, and he felt his heart rate near on triple as he was flooded with the sparks across it and desire bloomed, spreading out from his mark spot.

His wolf growled at her, and she chuckled softly before leaning down as if she was going to sink fangs into him, only to kiss him right there on his mark spot, eliciting a deep hungry growl from her wolfen Mate. She giggled kind of like a school girl and then finally claimed him, sinking her fangs into him and bleeding her venom into them.

He felt the connection being established and heard his beast purr, ‘Freaking perfect, you are Laud.’ through their connection.

‘You are everything I want in a Mate.’ She returned to him. Then she kissed him once more while he knelt before her.

Declan was given back control, and he found he was looking up at Misha, her wolf having also relinquished her control back to her human, she smiled down at him and then shook her head. “Those two are going to be all over each other at some point.”

He nodded, “Yes they are.” And then he stood up and looked to his ruined suit and shook his head. “Impatient beast I have.” Then he looked to her neck and there was that double filigree that proved she was gifted a second Mate, though his marking had no created silver filigree, as it was for her first Mate; it was gold.

He’d never seen gold filigree before, but smiled and reached out to touch it, “It’s gold.” He murmured even as she stopped him from touching it. She shook her head ‘no’ at him, and he smiled. “Mm, likely to incite our beasts.” He agreed.

Then he turned to the pack to show them his and her filigree. “Selena has seen fit to gift Misha and I as Goddess-Gifted Mates to each other. A wonderful surprise for us and all of you here.” He looked to the moon up there in the sky and smiled. “Thank you, Selena, I couldn’t be happier, we’ll hold a proper Luna Ceremony as Misha wishes after the pup you blessed us with is born.”

She smiled as she watched Declan thank Selena for gifting her to him. He’d known it was coming, but Wild had reacted unlike she’d been expecting him too, considering she’d told them already, and they believed her, but he’d done exactly what one who didn’t know it was going to happen, did.

Claimed her in a heartbeat, for all to see without any hesitation, buried his fangs into them and then, to her and Lauds’ complete surprise, knelt before her to allow her to claim him. It was, she knew, not something any Alpha Wolf would normally do, and she certainly didn’t expect it to come from a pure-blood, but there it was.

A full mark of respect from Declan’s Alpha Wolf to the she-wolf that he’d been granted as his Mate, by Selena. She’d never seen anything like it in all her life, she knew Alphas were loving and loyal and showed respect to their Mate and Luna 90% of the time. But she’d never seen an actual wolf get down his knee like that before.

He was uncaring of how it looked to others, only concerned himself with how he presented himself to Laud and she knew it. She could feel that the moment they connected when their bond was established in full. She could feel all the love, joy, gratitude and respect he wanted to share with Laud.

She also knew that Laud was allowing Wild to feel it all in return; how happy and excited she was to have him for a Mate. The love that had been growing for him day by day as they’d spent time with them, that she liked that he knew exactly what he wanted and just went for it, regardless of those around him.

An image of his half-shifted form stalking its way across the pack towards them flooded her mind and she knew it was Laud telling Wild that she saw him for what he was, an impressive, strong wolf that knew exactly what he wanted. She recalled how he’d tossed his own unit aside because nothing and no one was going to stop him from having what he wanted.

He was everything that Laud wanted in a Mate. She smiled at Declan, who she knew he was likely seeing exactly what she was, and he touched her face. “I love you, Misha.” He stated.

“I love you too.” She told him, and he leaned down and kissed her for all to see, all long and slow until the pack was clapping and cheering.

She heard one she-wolf yell, “We have a Luna.” And several others yelled it after her.

Declan chuckled and looked at them all. “You’re making me think you never believed I’d get a Luna. Am I so terrible to you all?”

“20 years boss, what can we say?” Holland called out and the crowd erupted into laughter.

Declan smiled and pulled his vest, tie and shirt off, tossed them on the ground and looked at her. “You’re going to have to deal with me half naked. Blame Wild,” he said, and hopped off the stage right down onto the dance floor, where he turned and looked up at her, held both hands out and “Dance with me my Luna.”

She stepped forward, and his hands slid under her armpits and lifted her down and twirled them around, before letting her feet touch the ground, and the music played once more “I’m such a terrible Alpha that I demand you all come out here and join us, dance with your Mate as I now can.” He called to the crowd as they started to dance.

She laughed softly as they moved about and around the dance floor and the pack joined them. As Nick and Lucinda, their units all got up to dance as well. Declan was smiling at her and she him, and then she stilled as she saw a snowflake filter down between them, and she looked about as a very light snowfall played about.

She let go of his hand and reached out and let a single snowflake land on her palm and

“A winter’s blessing from Selena,” Declan murmured, and they were off dancing once more. Four songs later, he guided her off the dance floor and pulled out a chair for her, took that shawl and draped it around her, “I’ll be back.” He stated, “I need a shirt it’s cold.”

She chuckled softly. “Whimp.” She called after him merrily.

But she knew it was just that she was acclimatized to the cold winters. Most wolves would wear more than she was. She picked up her glass of red Shiraz and sipped it as Carol sank down next to her, “I got the winning shot.” She stated and held her phone out to her, for her to

see.

“It was a picture of her and Declan. She’d been spun out away from him and at the full extension of their arms right before she’d been pulled back into him, they’d been looking at each other, both smiling happily and both slightly bowed to each other.

She smiled “Now that’s a dance shot. Print that for me.”

“Will do.” Carol smiled.

Nick smiled at her from his place there at the table. He and Lucinda were already off the dance floor before she and Declan. “Is good to see you got what you wanted,” Nick stated. It’s a full shame he wasn’t here to see it though. I would have loved to see the look on his face as another claimed you.”

“Hmm, he’s coming to the pack the day after tomorrow.” She nodded. “A rejection will be

issued by me and if he doesn’t accept it, Declan is going to make him.”

That gained Nick’s undivided attention, and he looked from her to Lucinda, who smiled and nodded. “Mary’s got the pack, we can stay a few more days to see that happen. Misha’s kin now. Taken you on as her big brother. So, of course, we’ll stay for the big moment.”

Nick smiled. “So perfect you are,” he reached out and ran a hand through Lucinda’s hair and then cupped the back of her head and pulled her in to kiss her to show how happy he was.

Misha smiled and leaned back in her chair. It was always nice to watch the leadership of the

curiously. She already had silver filigree there, though that was simple like everyone else had. Usually, two filigrees blend together to make a double mark.

His eyes moved to Declan’s filigree and then to hers. “Pretty much,” he nodded. “Though the silver you had before has been moved to the outer edges, it almost kind of looks like the gold has eclipsed the silver.” He smiled. “Like it’s been pushed aside, I think that is just fitting.”

She smiled. “Good because Declan has eclipsed everything about my other Mate and in just two days’ time.” She turned and smiled at Declan. “You’ll be the only one whose filigree I bear.
