Nikolai burst into Maria’s and Devin’s chamber, the door crashing open. The scent of blood hit him like a punch to the gut, his crimson eyes flashing

with rage.

He rushed to the bed, his heart sinking as he took in the lifeless forms of Maria and Devin, their pale skin smeared with their own blood.

“Tiana!” Nikolai bellowed, his voice echoing through the chamber.

In an instant, he vanished, reappearing in Anastasia’s chamber. But it was empty.

Nikolai’s chest heaved with a deep breath as he vanished once more. This time, he materialized in Yakim’s chamber, where a chilling scene unfolded before him.

Yakim was pinned to the wall, an invisible force holding him in place. His eyes bulged as he struggled to speak, fixed on a figure standing before him

a figure Nikolai recognized all too well.

Nikolai’s eyes narrowed, fixed on Tiana. Yakim, still pinned to the wall, paused in his struggles, his eyes wide with panic as he looked at Nikolai.

“Tiana,” Nikolai growled, his fists clenched so tightly that blood oozed from

his skin.

“Why did you kill them?” Nikolai demanded, his voice low and threatening.

Tiana’s smile was bright and cheerful as she turned to face Nikolai. “Albert found out earlier than I expected, Alina was an unnecessary existence, Maria’s use was over, and Devin was an incoming obstacle.”

Nikolai’s heart tightened. “Yulia.”

Yulia/Tiana’s smile grew wider. “Did you think you’d really get rid of me? Of

course, it was selfish to choose my own daughter’s body, but she has my

blood.”

Nikolai swallowed hard. “How long?”

Yulia/Tiana giggled. “Since the moment you killed me, Nik, of course, I had

a backup plan.” She sauntered towards him, her eyes glinting with

amusement.

“Anastasia has been helping me, in exchange for the protection of her children. She even performed the forbidden magic to put me in this body.” Yulia/Tiana’s voice dripped with satisfaction. “Maria, well… she wasn’t strong enough to learn magic, so she was of no use to me.”

Nikolai was stunned, struggling to comprehend the scale of Tiana’s plan. He had never suspected that Tiana was actually Yulia in disguise. The very idea was unthinkable, and he found himself questioning his own memories.

“Then all those moments…” Nikolai muttered, his eyes locked on Yulia/ Tiana. “When Yulia followed me to where I found your coffin…”

Tiana squealed excitedly. “Acting! Everything has been an act, and it’s been so much fun!” She twirled around, her eyes sparkling with cruelty, before facing Yakim.

Yakim’s tear–filled eyes stared back at her, his face contorted in a silent

scream.

Tiana’s expression turned mock–sympathetic. “Aww, you have to go now. Our baby has been dead for a long, long time.”

Yakim’s body strained against the invisible force holding him, his lips parted

in a soundless scream.

Tiana waved goodbye, her smile gleaming with bitterness. “Goodbye,

Yakim.”

In an instant, Yakim’s body erupted into a gruesome explosion of blood,

splattering the walls with a sickening splat.

Nikolai’s soul was consumed by shock, swiftly followed by a raging anger. He lunged at Tiana, intent on grabbing her, but she was prepared. Her face twisted into a grim expression as she pulled out the blood pearl from her pocket and thrust it into Nikolai’s face.

“Of.. course.” Nikolai froze, his muscles locked in tension.

Tiana’s voice dripped with spite. “Enough of all the drama. Let the Supreme Master Blood Moon God come out. It’s my time. Her words ended in a menacing hiss.

Nikolai’s body became rigid, his thoughts narrowing to a singular focus: harnessing the strength of the Master Blood Moon God to eradicate the gods. But as the blood pearl’s dark energy enveloped him, his mind began to cloud, filling with an insatiable hunger.

A terrible realization dawned on him: he would soon be nothing more than a mindless puppet, controlled by Tiana’s manipulation of the pearl. His only solace was the hope that Sasha had succeeded in taking Ophelia away to safety…

Ophelia’s face flashed in his mind’s eye, her bright smile illuminating her beautiful features.

A sharp scream echoed through Nikolai’s mind, his own voice ripped from his throat as the darkness consumed him.

Suddenly, a deep growl shook the chamber, and Pain burst into the room. With lightning–fast reflexes, he pounced on Tiana, pinning her to the floor. Her screams echoed through the chamber as his claws raked across her face.

Rhaziel burst into the room, his face ashen. “Nikolai!” he exclaimed, rushing

Nikolai remained frozen, his eyes unblinking.

Rhaziel’s eyes snapped to Tiana, and narrowed. Swiftly, he dragged Nikolai out of the chamber, leaving Pain to continue his brutal attack on Tiana.

In the hallway, he collided with Viktor, his face twisted in a furious scowl. “My.. my parents,” Viktor whispered, his eyes locked onto Nikolai, still frozen and unresponsive.

“What’s going on?” His eyes snapped to Rhaziel, his voice heavy with

urgency.

“He’s been affected by the blood pearl. Tiana is Yulia, and she killed all your parents.” Rhaziel replied, his deep voice grave with tension.

Viktor’s eyes flared with anger, his red eyes burning with an inner flame. Though he was a reincarnated Blood Moon God, the Novikovs were his family, and this betrayal cut deep.

As Yulia’s screams echoed down the hall, Viktor’s face twisted in a snarl. He grasped Rhaziel’s shoulder, his voice low and menacing. “Take him to Vlad. I’ll handle Tiana.”

Rhaziel nodded, and Viktor stormed back into the chamber. The scene before him was one of carnage. Yulia lay on the floor, her face a mess of bloody scratches, Pain’s furious attacks finally ceasing.

The guardian beast stepped back, his fur matted with blood, and fixed Viktor with a fierce glare. With a deep, angry growl, Pain turned and padded out of the chamber, leaving Viktor to face Yulia’s broken form.

Viktor’s silence was oppressive, his eyes burning with a cold fury as he approached Yulia’s broken form. He squatted beside her, his gaze scouring the floor for the blood pearl, but it was nowhere to be seen.
