The Silver Wolf (Diana and Talon) novel Chapter 83

Chapter Eighty Three

The moment Willow’s mindlink reached them-

Broken. Breathless. Filled with pain-

Then cut off into silence-

Everything stopped.

And then-

Everything moved at once.

Talon, Diana, Enzo, and Leah didn’t hesitate.

They ran.

No questions.

No second thoughts.

Only instinct.

“Willow!” Talon called through the link.

No response.

Diana’s heart pounded violently in her chest.

Artemis surged forward inside her, alert and furious

Danger. Blood. Pain.

Beside them, Enzo’s expression darkened completely, all traces of calm gone.

Leah followed closely, fear evident in her eyes.

Behind them-

Damon froze.

The pain in his side-

Sharp.

Sudden.

Then-

Gone.

His breath hitched.

That only meant one thing.

Either Willow had lost consciousness

Or-

“No…” Cerberus howled inside him.

Loud.

Feral.

Raging.

Damon’s aura exploded outward.

Raw.

Uncontrolled.

Every wolf in the hall felt it.

The music stopped.

Voices fell silent.

Even the strongest Alphas stiffened under the pressure.

Something was very wrong.

“Galvin.”

Talon’s voice cut through the chaos like steel.

A mindlink-sharp, commanding.

“End the party.”

“Send everyone back to their assigned quarters.”

“No one leaves.”

His tone turned deadly.

“My sister is hurt.”

A beat.

“And I want to know who did it.”

“Anyone who refuses…”

Talon’s eyes darkened as he ran.

“…take them to the dungeon.”

“I don’t care if it’s an Alpha or a Luna.”

“Yes, Alpha King.”

As they rushed through the corridors, Rowan and Selene saw them-

And immediately followed.

“Talon, what is going on?”/Selene’s voice came through the link, strained.

“It’s Willow,” Talon answered.

His voice tight.

Barely controlled.

“She’s hurt.”

Selene’s breath caught.

Rowan’s expression hardened instantly.

They ran faster.

When Talon reached the kitchen doors-

He didn’t slow down.

He slammed into them-

The doors shattered off their hinges.

Wood splintered.

Metal bent.

But Talon didn’t stop.

He pushed forward-

Straight to the garden entrance.

And the moment they stepped outside-

Everything froze.

Willow lay on the ground.

Blood pooled beneath her.

Too much.

Too fast.

“Willow!”

Selcne’s voice broke.

Raw.

Shattered.

In that single word-

Talon heard it.

A mother’s fear.

A mother’s pain.

“Do not touch her!” Diana’s voice cut through the panic.

Sharp.

Commanding.

She dropped to Willow’s side immediately, her hands steady despite the chaos around them.

Her eyes scanned the wound.

The blade.

The blood.

“It’s still in her,” Diana said quickly.

Her voice urgent but controlled.

“And it’s laced with wolfsbane.”

A collective breath hitched.

Diana didn’t waste time.

With one swift motion, she tore a strip from her dress using her claws.

She wrapped it tightly around the blade-

Stabilizing it.

Preventing movement.

Preventing further damage.

“Do not remove it,” she said firmly.

“It’s the only thing slowing the bleeding.”

Then she looked at Talon.

“Talon.”

Her voice softened just slightly.

Grounding him.

“Pick her up.”

“Carefully.”

“Do not shift the blade.” (

Talon moved instantly.

He crouched beside Willow-

His hands trembling just slightly as he slid them beneath her.

His sister.

Pale.

Weak.

Broken.

His jaw clenched.

Then he lifted her.

Carefully.

As if she might shatter.

“Let’s go,” Diana said.

They turned-

And stopped.

Damon stood in front of them.

Still.

Silent.

His eyes locked on Willow.

Something dark.

Something raw.

Something unspoken-

Burning in them.

“Move.” Diana’s voice dropped.

“Or I will make you, Damon.”

She didn’t wait.

She shoved him aside.

Hard.

Hard enough to make him stumble.

And for once-

Damon didn’t resist.

Didn’t react.

Didn’t even look at her.

His eyes never left Willow.

Then they ran.

Toward the pack hospital.

Luck-

Or fate-

Placed it close to the celebration grounds.

“Enzo,” Diana called sharply.

“Mindlink the healer. Now.”

“Already done,” Enzo replied, his voice tight.

Ahead of them, warriors cleared the path instantly.

Doors opened.

Corridors emptied.

By the time they reached the hospital-

The medical team was ready.

“Here!” Diana ordered.

Talon laid Willow on the bed.

Healers moved quickly.

Efficiently.

“Prepare the surgical room!”

“Careful with the blade-!”

And just like that-

She was taken.

The doors closed.

And they were left outside.

Waiting.

“Alpha.”
