"Phoebe." Vanessa shrieked, throwing herself down to pull Phoebe into her arms. She looked up, glaring at Phoenix with venomous hatred. "How did I give birth to such a vicious monster like you?"

Facing her biological mother's curse, Phoenix scoffed, her expression unfazed. "Can't help it. I take after you."

Vanessa's face turned as pale as paper. If Warren hadn't been supporting her, she likely would have fainted alongside Phoebe.

"Now it's Julian's turn." Phoenix spun around, her gaze landing on Julian, who was shivering in the corner.

Julian had long since been terrified out of his wits by her ruthless methods. Even seeing Phoebe punished, he hadn't dared utter a single peep.

But Phoenix clearly had no intention of letting this opportunistic brother off the hook.

"Julian, you and Phoebe are birds of a feather. Not only did you cover up the truth, but you also enabled her lies. That's a double offense." Phoenix's voice sounded like a judge handing down a death sentence, making Julian tremble violently.

"Phoenix, I know I was wrong." Julian collapsed to his knees, plastering a sycophantic smile on his face. "I apologize. I'll grovel. Please, I beg you, let me go."

He didn't want to lose the Prescott family's resources, and he definitely didn't want to be shipped off into an arranged marriage like a piece of merchandise.

If he rejected the proposal, he would be admitting that he was just as blind and foolish as Warren; if he agreed, his extortion plans would completely fall apart.

"Zoe, are you willing to marry Julian?" Phoenix didn't even give Dominic time to react, directly asking Zoe instead.
