Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 243

"Shut up! All of you, shut up!" Ian screamed hysterically. "This is your security failure! You let someone plant a camera! I'm going to sue you for invasion of privacy!"

West shook his head, scoffing. "The rightful owner of this room planned to do a livestream here. They placed their own phone. Who told you to storm in like a gang of bandits? You getting broadcasted to the world is your own damn fault."

"Go ahead and sue. We'll be counter-suing you for trespassing into a private space."

With just a few words, he completely blocked off all of Ian's escape routes.

Beside him, Rowena let out a long, heavy sigh. She knew it was over. They had been played like absolute fools by whoever was pulling the strings behind the scenes.

"Rowena, what do we do?" Ian tugged at her arm, frantic and lost.

"Don't panic." Rowena narrowed her eyes, a sharp glint flashing through them. "We have one last card to play. My contact just messaged me back—they can connect us with Star. As long as Star is willing to introduce us to Nolan, we can still turn this around."

Ian's eyes lit up. "Really?"

"We have to burn it all down to rebuild. Since your career here is finished, we'll use your music to impress Nolan and pivot to the international market." Rowena was already charting out his survival plan.

Ian's face, however, drained of color. His music? Impressing Nolan? Ever since his debut hit *My Brother's Keeper*, he hadn't written a single decent track. His so-called talent was entirely a product of the company's brilliant marketing.

Expecting him to start over using actual skill was a death sentence.

"Are you two ready to pay the bill?" West tapped the table impatiently.

"Just pay it," Rowena ordered.

Gritting his teeth, Ian pulled out the exclusive black card that symbolized his elite status and handed it over. He had planned to use Penelope's money tonight, but now that he was ruined, he had to bleed his own accounts.

"Declined."

West's face darkened as he tossed the card back onto the table. "Frozen."

"How is that possible?!" Ian panicked, frantically digging out another bank card. "Try this one!"

Declined again.

Ian's hands and feet went ice cold. Trembling, he dialed his father, Warren.

"Dad, why are my cards..."
