Julian narrowed his eyes, shooting Felix a highly deliberate look.

Felix instantly understood the assignment. Julian wanted him to give the Prescott heiress his "special" treatment.

"Phoenix, my sister. Process her onboarding."

"Not a problem."

"Oh, and make sure you take good care of her." Julian emphasized the words heavily.

"Don't worry, I know exactly what to do." Felix rubbed his hands together, plastering on a sleazy, sycophantic smile.

Julian gave a curt nod, then turned back to Phoenix. "I have a meeting to get back to, so I won't be holding your hand. If you have any questions, just ask Manager Fletcher."

Without another word, he turned on his heel and left.

The moment Julian was out of sight, Felix dropped the welcoming act entirely. He casually slid a document across the desk with sheer indifference.

"Here. Fill this out."

Phoenix took off her sunglasses and glanced down at the paper. It was completely covered in bizarre, highly invasive questions. It clearly wasn't a standard employee onboarding form.

"Are you certain... this is the onboarding form?"

"Absolutely!"

Felix leaned back in his chair, crossed his legs, and propped his feet up onto his desk.

"Ms. Prescott, you might be a member of the family, but the moment you step foot in Prescott Group, you play by our rules."

"Start with that one." He pulled out a massive stack of identical forms and slammed them onto the desk. "When you're done with that, there's plenty more."

Felix smirked with deep self-satisfaction, picking up his thermos to take a leisurely sip.

When it came to psychologically hazing people, he easily ranked in the top ten across the entire conglomerate.

Phoenix picked up the form from the desk, smirked slightly, and then proceeded to slowly, deliberately tear it cleanly in half.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing?!" Felix's eyes went wide, and he barked angrily, "You might be Mr. Julian's sister, but I still have a job to do. Anyone who joins this company has to fill out the paperwork!"

Phoenix completely ignored him. She casually strolled over to the leather sofa, sat down, and crossed her long legs. Her relaxed, utterly unbothered posture radiated pure queen energy.

Seeing her act with such absolute dominance, Felix felt a flicker of panic. This allegedly despised Prescott daughter... clearly wasn't a pushover.

"Phoenix, do you honestly think you're the real Prescott heiress?" Felix sneered, his eyes turning cold. "The only daughter the Prescott family truly acknowledges is Mr. Julian's favorite sister, Phoebe."

"The only reason you managed to crawl your way in here is because Old Mr. Alistair went to bat for you."

"But the emperor is far away. The ones actually running Prescott Group right now... are Warren and Julian!!"

"Oh, by the way. What position did Julian arrange for me?" Phoenix asked nonchalantly.

Felix hurriedly wiped the nonexistent sweat from his forehead. "A—an assistant to me."

Phoenix let out a dark laugh. Julian had set this up specifically so Felix could torture and humiliate her.

Felix was a lazy, sex-crazed degenerate who abused his power solely because his father-in-law was on the board. He thought he was untouchable.

Unfortunately for Julian, he severely underestimated what she was capable of.

"Ms. Prescott, I—I can arrange a position for you right now. Something easy, but with actual authority. How about Project Manager?" Felix babbled anxiously. "I know I don't strictly have the authority to assign that, but... since Old Mr. Alistair personally vouched for you, no one is going to dare challenge it."

"Project Manager? Not bad."

"But... I won't be needing you to appoint me."

"Huh?" Felix froze, staring at Phoenix in absolute bewilderment.

Phoenix narrowed her eyes, delivering each word with lethal precision. "I will have Julian personally... beg me to take the Project Manager position."

Felix was completely dumbfounded.

Where on earth... did this woman find the sheer audacity to think she could make the Executive Vice President of the company beg her for anything?
