Vladmir could feel his aggravation building as he moved around the library, his gaze straying over the bookshelves, to the point where he felt the want to just blow the place up. He yearned to speak again!
Upon reaching the restricted section, he looked at the chains securing the area and gave a deep frown before grabbing the chains and severing them with ease.
Breathing deeply, he let the chains drop to the floor and walked in. Books of forbidden magic filled the library’s restricted area. Forbidden magic that Tiana and his mother would typically practice for pleasure and with all of their might.
Vladmir balled his fists. Even without the voices of the gods, it was obvious to know that Nikolai was being manipulated in the past. Truthfully, because their parents, the adults did nothing to help him, there was nothing to be done. Nikolai was seen as a threat by Alexander and Alina as they already knew he was the child of doom. Nevertheless, Yakim, his father Albert, his mother Anastasia, and Maria… Considering how unconcerned his own parents were for him, they saw no need to help.
Now, the only emotion whirling around them all was guilt. Boris in particular.
Staring at a shelf that was filled with melted candles, Vladmir pressed his fingers against one of them to feel its warmth. It was warm… It was lit not too long ago indicating that there was someone in the library the other night. Could it be the one with the blood pearl? If the person knew this place inside and out, most especially that room… There was no doubt that it was not Tiana.

No other witch couldn’t simply have access to the castle. No other witch could simply waltz in and out.. he knew it was Tiana.
The gods were whispering to him.
He rubbed his fingertips on a hard black book cover, and without waiting a moment, he pulled the book out to open it.
It contained forbidden magic knowledge. The path to enter the celestial domain of the gods of the blood moon. This was created specifically by the first ever red moon witch.
Vladmir was turning the pages when he finally noticed a gap. His gaze grew wide, ‘Torn?‘
This cleared the door that Sasha had observed. Vladmir smirked and walked out of the restricted section. He extended his hands towards the chains, and as he did so, a brilliant white light enveloped them, fixing them as though they had never been broken before.
As he exited the library, he tightened his hold on the book he was carrying and noticed Yulia carrying a large slice of butter cake on a huge plate. She had a radiant smile on her face.
“Care to join me, Vlad?” She asked. “I have some acquaintances with me.”
Vladmir merely waved courteously and shook his head.
He made his way to Sasha’s chamber to find it empty, but just as he was about to leave, a maid who was organizing the room spoke up.
“She went to the city, your highness.”
With a reluctant nod, Vladmir walked away to the castle’s grounds.
Walking to the heart of the garden where the winter white roses bloomed, he slumped the book open and rested against a cold tree encased in ice crystals.

A faint breeze enveloped him, and a somber, all–encompassing aura pervaded the garden, directing his attention to the castle’s third tallest
tower.
He let out a long sigh and returned his gaze to the book.
“Seer…” A dark, menacing murmur sprang up.
Vladmir’s eyes got bigger. ‘Blood moon god?‘ Was that the mist that had come the previous night? A large part of him felt terrified. The gods of the blood moon were architects of evil, pure evil! It was expected that Nikolai would be darker in this existence as he was the supreme master blood moon god’s incarnation.
“Why don’t you speak?” The voice asked. “I can’t invade the body of a mute
seer.”
Vladmir increased his grip, stunned out of his body. ‘Invade?!‘
“Hehe That face, look at it! Absolute gold.” The voice suddenly started chuckling, surprising Vladmir.
“You are a very powerful seer. Powers of the Moon Goddess cling to your frail spirit. However, it appears that you are not using the moonstone. I can’t trespass into a blessed seer’s soul. How infuriating.”
Vladmir raised a brow. The voice was sounding right in front of him and the longer he stared, he could see wisps of crimson mist materializing.
Horrified, his face went pale and he rose up to run away. However, the mist began flowing around him making him freeze in his spot. If he had his voice, he would have screamed so loud that the entirety of Celestia would
have been able to hear him loud and clear.
“Oooo!! You are a whiner too.”
It was impossible for Vladmir to miss the humor in that tone. “You are a

Novikov; as a strong seer, are you not aware that a celestial portal has been opened in this fortress? It’s fortunate that nobody went through it.
Hehe!”
Frozen in terror at the mist swirling about him, Vladmir swallowed. If he soiled his trousers, it would be embarrassing. Not that he wanted to go
that far.
“Without his voice, a seer is nothing. Did you acquire any unexpected memories? That bitch removed your voice with the fear that you might spill whatever you saw, but I can return it to you. Consider it as bargaining
with the devil.”
Bitch? Was it the moon goddess who revealed him the memories and seized his voice? Vladmir shook his head. He was not going to make a deal with a god of the blood moon! His eyes brimmed with scared tears.
“Let’s hurry this up before master Nik… I mean the demon lycan becomes aware of my presence.”
Vladmir shook his head, gesturing that he wasn’t interested.
“Aww! Why is that? I will only have your body in return.”
Vladmir’s eyes nearly protruded from their sockets. He dropped the book and tried running away again but the mist caught up to him, laughing. Suddenly, the laughter ceased and the mist darkened.
“Trust me mortal, I am not patient and I did not ask for your consent.” This time, the voice sounded remarkably sinister and frightening.
Vladmir shook his head and covered his face with his hands.
The mist swirled around him, darkening even more until it swallowed him completely.
Vladmir felt his body jolted and sting so powerfully that he suddenly

heard himself screaming so loud, it followed with a howl.
Before he could even catch his own breath, the mist vanished and he fell into darkness.
Suddenly, a deviously handsome tall well–built man wearing a long, deep crimson garment materialized standing next to the unconscious seer. His dark skin gleamed beautifully, his deep crimson eyes twisted with mirth and his long red hair flowed to the side pushed by the wind.
His eyes remained focused on the unconscious seer, a cheeky smirk playing on his lips. “What a frail mortal. It amazes me that you are still alive.” Afterwards, he took the book and took a seat, resting his back against the cold tree. “Interfering in the affairs of mortals is against the order. However, I am not the only god playing a part in this, am I? Hypocrites. Tch!”
“VALERIAN!” Suddenly, a crimson mist formed and a voice bellowed out in wrath.
Valerian cast a dreary gaze at the mist. “What?“I Will you be lecturing me?”
“This is unbelievable. It is not our place to become involved.”
“Are you joking with me? This is all the result of those hypocrites, especially that bitch. There is also a fire god within this fortress.” Valerian hiss, flinging the book at Vladmir’s face.
“It doesn’t mean you can do anything you want, especially not bringing your entire form to the mortal realm!”
“Stop bothering me; my purpose is to protect the master’s incarnation. He protected us back then which was why he was so distracted to protect himself! I need to repay my obligation. My allegiance. It doesn’t matter to me if he is mortal.” Valerian whispered, his gaze drifting to the winter
